and what date are you planning MNSSHP and when will you know for sure (as in I bought the tickets :goodvibes)

Well, definitely the 26th, and I'm debating between the 24th and 28th. There are three parties that week, and I'm not sure which other one I want to do. Heck, if I have the money, I may just go to all three :rotfl2: I made a dinner reservation for the three of us before the party starts, but if you'd rather eat somewhere other than LTT, I can look for something else and cancel that one :goodvibes

who are the 3 of us...is Sharon (not) doing the 26th? In a perfect world I would love to do MNSSHP with you, and your friend, Sharon & her DH all on same day and LTT for early dinner ADR before that...make sense?

I'm actually heading down alone if I go in October. The three of us would be you, me, and Sharon, if we did dinner on the 26th. I think she said her husband can only do the party on the 24th, and I'm pretty sure I can find a reservation for that day if that works better :) The flight I'm looking at taking comes in around 11am, I think, and I was planning on hitting up MK that day anyway :cutie:

Oh, but the reservation for the 26th is for four anyway, since it was easier to find a table that way :rolleyes1

Ok got it but until we find out what S & DH are doing for sure I;ll wait on everything....then see where we are ok?

Okedokey :) I made a different reservation for the 24th anyway, just so that we have it just in case :) I can always cancel it or my CP one depending on what happens :teeth:

Good morning!
I'm also about 75% sure I'm going.

Looks like you will have to change your ticker!

Ah, okay :) My mind tends to automatically link summer parties with barbecue, since that's what we usually do :lmao: That's good that you have a little bit of help with some of the prep, though. That always helps when you're planning something big like that.

That sucks that her knees are so bad, but at least they're getting taken care of, right? Jacquie's needed her knee looked at for years, but never had the insurance to cover it. I hope Fran has a quick and easy recovery  I know, that's hoping for a lot :lmao:

I would normally BBQ, but her Dad's BBQ is in a sorry state, the grills are all rusted out, and I've only used this tailgate grill a few times. It's pretty portable so I thought it was a better solution. Yesterday we picked up all our "garage sale" tables from storage and took them over to his backyard, and then we were scrubbing the patio chairs until well after dark. I hope they got clean! :lmao:

She was going to start this whole surgery process in 2008, but being taken to the emergency room and and hooked up to a ventilator for three weeks (when the surgery was less than two weeks away) sort of put a stop to that. It delayed her whole "replacement process" by over a year. So I hope all goes well and we can get both knees dones soon. Then she says I have to go on all the rides that she has missed not being able to bend her knees to get into them. I think I can handle that! :thumbsup2

The only night out for DH is Tuesday 26th. He has the conference dinner at CSR. I believe that I could go along to the dinner and pay the extra money for the dinner. I think it may be wiser for me to party with you and Firefly and let him party with the IT Geeks.

So, the only other night that MNSSHP is on that DH could go to is Sunday 24th. If you wanted to have dinner with him, then we should look for a ressie on that night. He also has to register for the conference...I'll check with him what time registration is (I think it's from 3 pm).

Since you are traveling the furthest I will do the MNSSHP any night that works for you (with or w/o DH and w or w/o making dinner ressies ) your call totally okay? AND I want you to change that ticker to 100 % going :rotfl2:

Alison a close familyr member had the surgery Fran will be having....recovery went extrememly well, same will happen for her I have no doubt

We don't have any permanently installed grills, just our rolling Weber one. And our lawn furniture is all old and broken :lmao: My dad's been trying to fix them, but they come apart again anyway because they're so old. If yours don't get clean right away, try Easy Scrub and a scrub brush. That's what I used when I was in housekeeping at WDW to get patio chairs clean after the hurricanes. It always worked :)

That really sucks that it's been postponed so long :( I'm hoping Jacquie's won't be postponed, but I don't even know what she's having done yet. She's going to see the surgeon again tomorrow and will find out then. :lmao: That's awesome that she said you "have" to go on those rides :teeth: That's something I'd say ;)

I booked a reservation at LTT on the 24th at 5:15, but I looked again and there are a couple later ones. One at 5:40 and one at 6:15. Would either of those work better for your DH's registration? I've never been to a business conference, but the couple times I've been to fan conventions, registration seemed to take forever. Should I grab one of those? :)

Stick with the 5.15 or perhaps change to the 5.40. I really don't know how long rego will take; but the 5.40 should give us a bit of buffer to get to the MK. I don't think that we are hiring a car this time; just using Disney transport.

Okay :) Do you want me to forward you a copy of the ADR confirmation? I'm just using Disney transportation as well. I don't see the point in getting a car when it's just going to be me, you know?

It's no problem :) If you're still gonna go to the party on the 26th, too, do you want to go someplace other than LTT for dinner? I have no problem with keeping or changing, so it's up to you. I'm probably going to go to all three of the parties that are happening the week I'm there because I'm nuts :lmao:

did you win the lottery ?:lmao:

:rotfl: No, I just don't have very many bills. Buying the extra party ticket wouldn't be any worse than me going to Best Buy and buying two DVD's, you know? Plus, I LOVE the Halloween parties. They're my favorite of the special events. I haven't decided yet if I will, but I think I might. popcorn::

Love it too...costume idea ?

I still have my pirate costume from last year, I'd just want to buy a pair of bike shorts to wear under it. Skirts ride up on me in the back (I'm big in the rear), so I always feel like I'm flashing. I might pick something else up or make something for a second costume, though :) Not sure yet. I did find a witch costume I like online, but being plus size makes it a little harder to find good costumes that fit properly without making them myself. Do you have any costume ideas? :yay:

not really sure..definitely something light weight not a full on costume I did that in the past & nearly died of the heat.....did I ever show you those pictures ? I don't remember

I think so... The ones where you were Pooh Bear? :) The pirate costume I have is pretty lightweight, so it should be comfortable.
