We've been doing all the important things you do the day before surgery. Have a Chinese lunch and buy all the specials and Office Depot and Staples!

I started my geeks on a plane one abut a year in advance, I think. Not sure, I'd have to check.

Well, we plan on going sometime during F&W 2011, I don't even know where we will be staying because today I logged into the DVC Resale board where my BCV contract was and someone else bought it! I can alway stay at SSR, but I wanted to have my BCV points before the 11 month booking window. Now I'll just have to hope another contract comes up, and I can make an offer before mid November/December. Boo Hoo!

I was hoping word of our loan approval would come through before it was snatched up, but we got sent back to "go" two weeks ago. I'm just wrapping up all the paperwork of the hoops we have to jump through before Fran goes in for surgery. I hope to send it back to them tomorrow. Hopefully this time they won't "cancel" it on us by mistake.

Well, if you don't manage to buy a resale, you could try renting points I know people do that all the time, as long as the person they're renting from is reputable. So that might work out for you two, if a resale doesn't

No, I own 413 points at two different resorts, I just want MORE points at other resorts. See BCV is very hard to get into when you can only book at 7 months out. I want the home advantage to be able to book it at 11 months (which I need to be and owner to be able to do). I just have to wait for another contract (that isn't too big) in my use year to come up, and we at least need to know that our loan will come through, then I will jump on it. Problem is my use year seems to be very stable and no one is selling contracts in my UY!

At least no one has snatched up my Wilderness Lodge contract yet. We've been on this darned loan process for about six weeks now, very frustrating. But if nothing else when we finally decide up on the dates we want to go, I'll book SSR at 11 months, then if we still haven't found anything at 7 months, I'll try to switch it over to the BCV. I would be OK with BWV, but Fran has no willpower and they have this fudge shop there that she went to every day when we stayed there last time. I don't know how she can eat that much sugar and she is a diabetic (well me too, but I don't care for sugar that much). But she said we can't stay there any more becuase the fudge shop is too tempting. If it comes down to it I'll have to ask her, do you really want to bus/drive to Epcot every day or would you rather risk the dangerous fudge shop?

Basically I'm being a spoiled little brat who wants my way, but at least I know it!

...'company' as in our friends who invited us to go with them to stay at their timeshare in Celebration - I made Chicken Piccata, roasted new red potatoes, green and yellow string beans [from our garden!], and salad [also from our garden] with fresh mozzarella balls....for desert: ZEBRA DOMES!!! ( j/k: sliced pound cake with fresh-cut strawberries, and whipped cream!) ...if I'm lucky, tomorrow when I call WDW, I'll be able to get ADR's for Boma...
