every day is a long day...getting very disgusted re-can't find a job ...plus in the heat with DH not here it's getting to me the daily upkeep of everything...animals too...just having a little pity party for myself today...ever see the movie Ground Hog day ? I am feeling like the main character

Thanks its so frustrating and every day that goes by just hits youu in the self esteem you know? I hate not having the $ and I hate even more like in this job market I'm not worth anything...I KNOW my worth isn't determined by a job BUT I have never been out of work this long in my life...

I know If I could have found another job when I was in Orlando, I'd still be there, you know? My dad's been out of work for almost four years except for random day jobs and then a few weeks with the census. I'm sure you'll find something soon

He's a carpenter who works in construction, and with the way the economy went, no one was building here for a long time. Whenever they were building, they hired non-union because they're cheaper or illegal day labor (even cheaper than non-union).
