The doctor said 3 -4 days. I think since she's already been able to get up and walk to the bathroom a few times on her own she'll probably come home tomorrow or Thursday. Wish I could be here to help her when she gets home but she understands my situation and told me I need to go have fun with Matthew! Her husband isn't one of those to do for himself (laundry, meals, etc.) so I'm afraid she may over-do when she gets home! He's not like my DH who just jumps right in and does whatever needs to be done!

Is there someone else who can help her out... even a little?

that's great! How long will she have to stay in the hospital?

My nurse (who I work with) had to have a hyst. and had some cysts removed (thankfully non-cancerous also!) in Sept. She was in the hospital for 3 days, and she's been off for 6 weeks.

When I had mine (about ten years ago) I was in the hospital two nights and couldn't wait to get home!

Three "days." We sail at 5 on Thursday and return to Port Canaveral at about 8 on Sunday morning!

that is SCARY!!!

One time we brought DH's van in for a recalled item, something to do with the steering.

No big deal right??

Well the next day he was driving home (and THANKFULLY he was on our block), and the STEERING WENT OUT! He couldn't steer the car at all! If it had happened not even two minutes before he would have still been on the highway!

We had to have them come and tow it back to the dealership to fix it. And needless to say, he was very nervous to drive it for a bit!

That would have made me scared to drive for a bit too
I know I am nervous about my tire falling off right now
even though I Know it is fixed

Having problems with this computer again-the fan is now not working so it over-heats fast!

I ended up getting a spicy burger (flame something).

It was really good!

And now my stomach hurts


maybe I shouldn't have eaten so many of those endless fries.

those fries can be addictive

And.... my kids wanted milk to drink, but they said no refills on it.

Ok, I agreed to it, until I saw on the menu where it said "bottomless milk" and I pushed to get refills on it.

I was very polite about it, but I insisted that they honor their menu.

They gave me all of these excuses
"it's a brand new menu"
"we just got it this week"
"it's a test menu" and
"oops, it's a typo"

but all I did was keep pointing to "bottomless milk" and the manager finally let us have it "just this one time"

whatever!

they'll give kids all the free sugar water they want, but only one cup of milk... makes me irritated

its not a new menu -- my dd gets bottomless milk every time we have gone.

glad they "gave in"
