Hey guys! Just another update, but it's a good one this time!! I'M AT HOME!!

I would have posted earlier, but we spent the majority of the day cleaning up, cleaning out the fridge and freezer, and de funking the house I couldn't believe how stufffy and nasty it felt in here when we got back. I mean, we're not dirty people at all, but with all the heat and humdity and it really made it smell in here! we had to air out the house big time.


But all is good now! We've got the ac running, I've got my wireless internet, I've checked my e-mail and had a hot meal in my house and I will be sleeping in my own bed tonight

Feels good to be home! I'm thinking they will probably call school off again Monday, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm TWO days late, but YAY!!!!!!!!!

He did really well! He's sore but other than that no major problems. Thanks for checking in on him!

Gotta work all weekend

I'm off all weekend. Took the weekend off in case Andrew needed me. But I doubt he will! (Yesterday he told me I was waiting on him too much and I should just sit and watch tv with him instead. He's on the sofa sleeper so at one point I crawled up there with him and watched part of a movie with him!)

Two deputies in the county that adjoins ours were shot last night. One has died.

If you would, please remember them and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

The man who shot two deputies, killing one of them, is still at large and DH has just been called in to work. PLEASE keep DH and the other members of his team in your thoughts and prayers today!

My DH came home around 7 to get his medicine (forgot to grab it on his way out earlier) and then headed back out. They will probably be taking 12 hour shifts so I don't expect him to be home before morning. He said there are probably 300 - 350 law enforcement officers in the area.
