Well-I have been busy and have some new news to share

After much debate (and a little arguing) DS in the Middle East will be heading home in 2 months -He finally got his hard copy orders!!!!

He'll be home this Nov-around the 7-8th-more details to follow!!!

The debate was the dates-He doesn't have to report to his next duty station until Dec 30th-so of course I wanted to have him home for Thanksgiving and X-mas-He gets 30 days vacation-I mean it was a great once in a career chance.....

But all he could think of was getting the heck out of Dodge-which I understood-but still He only had to wait 2 1/2 week to be home for both Holidays-But no-He submitted his request as soon as he got the orders for his report date so....

He's coming Home for Thanksgiving only-and either way-He's coming Home!!!! And we can't wait to see him again

And......This is DD Last year in Middle School and as such the 8th Grade Orchestra (she plays Cello) gets to go on a Class Trip- in which they need Chaperones......


This Years Class Trip is to......That's right, you guessed it to WDW



So of course I Volunteered to Chaperone-We're going for 3 days in May-So yet another WDW vacation is in my future!!!!

now if I don't go insane on the 7 hour drive down(at least it's during the night-11pm til 7am)-and the time with the 13 and 14 year olds for the entire time-it should be a nice quick trip

Another good thing about the trip is that WDW is holding a Workshop with their Conductors/Orchestra team and having the kids actually play some music from a clip of the Fantasmic Movie and putting it on a DVD for them-that should be fun to watch and see
