Charter Bus thank goodness-We're traveling all night then heading to the MK until 6pm-if those Kiddos don't sleep-it's going to be a tough 1st day-at least they should all sleep well that 1st night there

Well it is official. I signed up to be a Crew Member this year instead of a walker for the 3-day Breast Cancer Walk. As a crew member you don't have to raise as much money as a walker and hitting the same people year after year for money was getting hard.

I am so afraid I am going to miss the walking part. I love that physical beat-down that you get.

I just know that I needed to continue to be a part of it.

That sounds great Kelli! And even though you won't be walking you'll still have the good feeling of knowing that as a crew member you're still part of the overall team!!! I wish we had one of the walks not to far from here that I could participate in!

Then as soon as the students walk out of the class they laugh and make fun of teacher for being wrong - because, of course, they know everything and the teacher knows nothing!

But in this case -

...the teacher is wrong! Picture me walking out of the classroom laughing and making fun of the teacher because she is WRONG! She is not last and I am last!!!

I had an awful day yesterday! Today has got to be better. Every time yesterday that I thought to myself "this day can't get any worse" it did!

It started with getting the deposits for work stuck in the night drop at the bank. The tumbler thingie in the night drop stuck halfway and I couldn't get the door completely shut or get my key out. They had to call the repair guy out to fix it and never did get it open until after 3!

Then all sorts of things went from bad to worse all day at work.

And then the day ended with a phone call from Matthew. He had his first Mountain Alliance field trip yesterday. I was supposed to pick him up at the school at 6. My cell phone rings at 5:55 and it's him....."Mom - they forgot me!" He had told one of the chaperones that he was going to the rest room, and when he came out of the rest room they were gone! Luckily he was in a safe place - and it was close by. I went to pick him up and then we went to the school and I tracked down the leader and we had a little conversation, I was good - I didn't yell and I held my temper!
