Home from work!

Got out by 12:30!!! Another lousy day, though! Oh well, tomorrow's got to be better! (Doesn't it?? Please say it does! )

We did this on Monday. My Step son graudated HS!!!! I am not old enough to have a HS graduate!!!!

you know... summer is killing me!!

I have been staying up way too late, well you know, 'cause I don't have to get up and work in the morning and all... but dh keeps waking me up early!! Ugh!! Doesn't he know that this is my time to sleep in??

wow... just got a call from mil/fil

they are driving here from CA and fil fell last night and bumped/cut his head!

they're at a mobile park a day away from their home. It happened late last night while they were trying to hook up their motor home. seems fil couldn't get their jeep off the back of the motor home and fell some how, bumped his head... lots of blood.... won't go to urgent care...

I told mil she needs to drive him to one to make sure he doesn't need stitches and stuff.

it seems they're now going to turn around and go home... .now we have to find someone to watch our animals NEXT week!!!

We kept telling them not to drive the motor home, with gas prices, etc. but it seems when you get "older" you must turn back into teenagers and not take sound advice any longer

YIKES!!! I hope he goes to see someone soon. Can't mess with a head injury.

First my Aunt died suddenly last THursday
than on Sun my friend Kim's 14 year old son drowned while swimming
across the Hudson River
and just 3 minutes ago my Mom called
My cousin Tina died this morning
she had cancer and it finally took her............

So sorry Kayla.... prayers for all your friends and family.

...sorry, just lost my 'cool' there for a sec.....you can take the ferry from Battery Park in lower Manhattan, but you can also catch a ferry from Liberty State Park, which is in New Jersey, near the Liberty Science Center. The statue is located on Liberty Island, which is ACTUALLY in New Jersey waters...

...we don't even go into the City....I drive to Liberty State Park and catch the ferry to Liberty Island - and then, back to Liberty State Park when I return home....there's no need for me to go into Manhattan at all - besides, the GWB is too epensive!

smart woman! stay on the NJ side of the world!!!

DH was out all day helping with the sand bags at the fox river. Its about a mile from our house, but it would block all the roads out of our area if it goes over the banks. Up river from us there is a ton of flooding. just keeping our fingers crossed.
