and Hey Friday the 13th is a good day

I've always kind of liked Friday the 13th. I figure it's only bad luck if you think it's gonna be bad luck!

It's my 16th wedding anniversary

I totally get the bank/gas thing you were talking about
we have to drive 9 miles on way to the bank twice a day
and we are suppose to take turns but that never happens there
are only a few of us that ever go and they don't pay any extra here either.

So you don't think I'm being extremely cheap?

And in addition to the bank runs (three per day) I have to go "comparison shopping" at two stores once (sometimes twice) a week!

I'm just waiting to see what's going to happen when one of us gets robbed or gets in an accident on those bank runs! I don't expect the company is going to accept the liability issue if we're in an accident! For the amounts we carry we really should have armoured (sp?) car service!

I really didn't think it was going to happen for me, but after our little blow-up well....

It's not something I'll take advantage of. I figure I'll keep the log (that I've kept since May 1st) and after the first 15 trips as "freebies" then I'll start asking for reimbursement. Because I figure if each of the managers did their fair share of the trips it would be about 15 trips each so I'm willing to do my fair share without reimbursement.

DH has taken the furry human to the spa for boarding and the van is packed so I guess it's time to shut down the computer.

My Parents are heading home since this am-nice to have the house back to ourselves-but it was a nice visit-1st time anyone from my side of the family has visited!

The heat was nearly too much for them to handle, it was 95-100 the entire time they were here and no rain at all-even though the forcast is for rain each day this week-not a drop yet!!!! and we could really use some
