Morning all!:cutie:

Ok, don't laugh at me, but I had to wake up early today so I could buy my concert tickets so I could go see New Kids on the Block:hyper:

yes I know I'm a dork :rotfl: but I have to buy them

Morning :wave2:

Off to go shopping with Grandma and the Kids-should be fun in the 90+ heat :faint:

Slow day around here today.

Have a great evening all. I probably won't be on here during the daytime for the rest of the week but will try and stop by during the evenings.

Joe, I have a convention so for me it will not be vacation. DH and DD will have fun while I am in meeting.

Glad you were able to get the tickets.

sure is slow around here.....

was thinking I would get some chatting in.....

guess I'll try again later.....

I am so mad right now I just really needed to vent!

First of all, I got off work and got my hair cut. Not upset about that! But since I was a little late because of that I thought I would treat the kids to Taco Bell and not cook when I got home. Went in, ordered - almost $22 worth of food! My receipt showed my order totalled at 6:13 P.M......my order was ready at 6:50!!!!!!!!! 37 minutes for a take-out ordered. Once I had sat there for 15 minutes the cashier told those of us waiting that they were short handed and would be closing the lobby but it would only be a few more minutes. Well I had already invested 15 minutes so might as well wait another 5. No, not 5 but another 20! Then when my order was FINALLY ready the guy plopped it on the counter, called my number and didn't say anything! All the while there was an assistant manager not doing anything to help the situation. Believe me, then heard me when I picked up my order and the manager will be hearing from me in the morning!

So, I come home and we ate. (And, by the way, the order was wrong! - I had checked it before I left but one of the items was wrong and wrapped incorrectly!)

The dryer repairman had FINALLY come out today and fixed the dryer - new thermostat, new heating element and something else - all under warranty because I only bought this thing in February. DH calls me at work and tells me it's all fixed. So at least tonight I can do some laundry! I took some shirts downstairs to fluff them because the boys had been nice enough to bring in the laundry from the line before it rained, however, they smashed everything (two loads) down into one laundry basket! :scared1: So, I put them in the dryer. I checked all the dials on the dryer I noticed the one was set to "fluff, no heat." So I switched it over to medium heat. Seven minutes, seven minutes is all it took for the breaker to pop!!!

Please tell me - are there any competent people left in this world?

So now I've got to load up laundry tonight and/or in the morning to go to the laundromat after work tomorrow (in this heat wave we're having) because we're going out-of-town Wednesday morning and I've got to have clean clothes for everyone!

Sorry to vent...but thanks for letting me! I really needed to!

Can you tell I'm mad at the world right now....

....Taco Bell - well, no explanation needed there!

....the dryer repairman...

....Andrew and Matthew for shoving all those clothes into one basket instead of folding them because now I'm going to have to drag those clothes to the laundromat too so that I can fluff them and get all the wrinkles out...

...DH for assuming that the dryer repairman fixed the dryer and not checking it out himself while the guy was here. (I swear the guy checked it out on "fluff, no heat!)

I'm just plain mad! :furious:

And on that note....I'm going to bed! The heck with everything that I need to do tonight. If I can get it done tomorrow, fine. If I can't, then DH and the boys can wear dirty clothes when we go away or they can figure it out themselves! :rotfl:

Off to work!

Maybe today will be my nervous breakdown day since I postponed it last week! :lmao: I feel it coming on!

Hope you all have a good day!
