Yeah... I know I have to cover the tattoo on my leg. He said that the one on my wrist can be covered if I want to, which I likely will at first. Most people don't notice it, and if they do, they think it's henna. I also know that in pants, I have to wear a jacket; in a skirt, I don't. Any jewelry I want to wear is fine, and I can paint my nails, but they can't be chipped.

Business jacket. No cardigans I think I could wear a bolero, but that's something I need to talk to him about. I really want to discuss this with him so that I can be sure I get the right things if I get the job, and also because I suck at putting outfits together sometimes

You're not the only one. I'm pretty bad myself. I get help from the shop girls when I'm in a store...

I go shopping with friends They'll tell me if something looks horrible and make me try on other things I wouldn't think of. But yeah, I want to ask him for suggestions because even if I don't get this job, I need to expand my wardrobe so I don't just own jeans and t-shirts and party clothes.

Just been catching up

Hope the dress code is 'simple' in that you can get a good range of clothes to mix and match. Also simple to understand so you don't 'stuff up' by accident.

I had a friend working at Witchery (a ladies fashion store) when she was a student and they had to wear the store clothes. Which she loved and she still wears loads of their clothes.
But this is a tricky one as they obviously want a certain 'look' but they don't have a uniform or sell clothes to wear

PIO - bugger your DH won't take meds. I take everything under the sun but that is partly my mum's fault as she's in the 'evil' industry

Never made Canneloni but I do love it. So do you get it pre-made? The rolls already filled? I would have thought you just stick it in the oven. But maybe the pasta they use is 'tougher' so needs the boiling??

The cannelonni I bought today was from a shop that is run by two Italian nona's. Literally. They must be in their '70s. I've never asked them but I suspect that they are southern Italian. It's the first time I'm trying their cannelonni.
The other shop is run by a mid-aged Italian lady. She comes from northern Italy. Her cannelonni is so good that I've given up making the filling and rolling it myself. It's all about the filling - and the north Italian lady has a decent amount of spinach to the ricotta and nice seasoning. We'll see how the comparison goes tonight.

Cannelonni is in the oven and I made a bechamel sauce to go over it. Also make some cabbage and bacon for a side; instead of a salad. We're all still sick so I figured a warm vegetable side would be better for us. Needless to say, the bacon is a side for the side .

I've been taking some pictures...and might spend tomorrow loading them up and posting.

Ahh...yes North vs South. My dear neighbour (now a great grandmother...nona) is from Northern Italy. I've really only eaten her treats rather than mains so I don't know her process at all.
Of course....being a carnivore I've eaten meat cannelloni and am NOT generally a fan of spinach and ricotta...but I would give it a go.

Work starts 8:30am Monday morning. The lady said she would email the offer to confirm which I haven't gotten...but...I'll rock up
I hate mornings
But....it is 3 doors down from a Starbucks

The project she told me about in the interview was 3 months...but the call and offer was for a different project...so it matches it's deadline.
I'm told it is a hard company to get into and it IS with my preferred software. So it is all positive. It is certainly something good to add to the resume should it not get extended.

Oh yes..I saw the tipping....

Just hope my brother stays away

I saw it...started to laugh and then figured a more effective way of answering was to resurrect that old thread and link it.

Yes...any experience is good experience on the resume.

I agree...we keep going round and round. Which when I'm not 'actively looking' for my own trip gets a bit tiring.
Had lunch with Shushh the other day and didn't talk that much about trip stuff. She's a bit 'over it'
You do want it to be a good trip but contributing to others plans can get a bit tiring
