I think the reason Kim has been MIA is the Baconalia fest they are having at Denny's. I just heard on the radio that they have a Maple & Bacon Ice Cream Sundae.

Well, I helped one of the consultants for a little over an hour

The manager said that he'll give me a call on Monday, but that he has to wait for references to come through for another applicant. There's only one position, so I honestly don't know if I'm going to get it He also told me that if he doesn't pick me, he'll call another local store and see if they have a position open, which is nice.

So, right now, it looks like 50/50 that I've got the job.

Fingers and toes and everything else crossed for you.

Good Sunday moaning everyone. I'm feeling a bit better and think that a couple of aspirin tablets are going to be my best friends today; so that I can make it through the day.

DS has started on the Wii and is playing Band Hero..he's on the drums and the thumping noise is not good. But hey...tis better than being on the electronic drum kit or the real drum set! It's all good.

So I thought I would post a PIO style "here's my dinner".

Last night we had indonesian swordfish, marinated cucumber salad and stir fried veggies. Here's the ingredients.

The swordfish was marinated in Soy Sauce, Peanut Oil, minced garlic, minced gingeroot, lemon zest, lemon juice, and dijon mustard. Grill for 5 minutes per side.

Next I cooked the veggies, onions and celery first.

Then add the mushrooms and garlic

Then add the bean sprouts and cabbage along with the sauce (soy sauce, sherry, splenda, sambal olek and I think that's it).

Serve it all up! Dinner!
