Just say "Yes Mum" and eat more greens. If you had a decent sized steak, you don't need any more...but the vegetables will help fill you up without being 'bad' for your diet.

So on another note.....I'm planning on canneloni for dinner tonight. I have a couple of fresh pasta places close to me and I usually get fresh canneloni from one of the places. The lady there tells me to cook it in the oven with tomato sauce for about 30 - 40 minutes. We really like her canneloni.

Today, I went to the other fresh pasta place because it was on my way home. I normally buy their gnocchi and pasta. But because it was convenient and DS really wanted canneloni for dinner, I got their canneloni.

The lady there told me to boil the canneloni for 20 minutes before putting it in the over with tomato sauce for 20 minutes. I asked if I could just put it in the oven without boiling it but she was most insistent. :confused3

I'm thinking that this might be a difference in cooking style between the different regions of Italy? What do you think? Think I can just stick with the one step oven cooking and not have to boil water?

Not much. Just hoping I get the job... Tomorrow's the observation/interview thingy. Not sure how long I'll be there.

The only downside to getting the job would be that I'd have to spend a LOT of money on clothes. My dad offered to buy some for me for my birthday, though, so that's something, and I'm sure my mom and I could make me some skirts and shirts as long as we find material I actually like. She has a ton of material, but it's all from the 80s and early 90s, so kind of ugly.

:lmao: I actually got on the scale yesterday (after fixing the ticker) and it said a higher number than it had when I fixed the ticker. Bleh. I really need to start doing my Wii Active more often.

Well....I'm sure you'll work it out with the clothes side of things. Is your mum a good seamstress? I'm jealous!

She's not amazing, but she's better than I am :lmao: That's not hard to do, though. Do you remember the polka dot skirt I had for MNSSHP? She made that for me at the last minute.

Are the other workers nice? I hope they aren't the clothes police sort and it is more important to wear nice clothes because they want you to rather than because you need to for the customers.....

I've only met the district manager (he's the one who interviewed me) and the girl who gave me the application to fill out when I went there the other day. It is a requirement to look good, though, but I'm sure I could just buy a couple of black dresses and wear those, in addition to the ones I already have. I want to talk to him tomorrow and ask him for more clarification on the dress code. My main problem is just that I've been wearing uniforms for the last seven years, ever since I had my very first job at Disney. Every job has required uniforms, even if it was just "black pants and black shirt" or "khaki pants and white shirt".
