Places say they're hiring, but I only know one person who's managed to find a job this year. Everyone else I know who's out of work is having a hard time finding a job.

Yeah, I know. It's really annoying. I'm going to another nursing home tomorrow, and will also be dropping off an application at an animal shelter. I'm hoping that I'll find something soon. A friend of mine told me about a day work opportunity, so I emailed him for more information.
