When Echoes in the Bone came out, she came to Oz. I didn't realise she was in town until another mother from school mentioned it. I was kicking myself.....by all accounts she was a mesmerising speaker.

The other Mother was very kind. She got me a personal signed copy of Outlander.

We must be due for another book of Jamie and Claire soon.

And for fun, I also like the Janet Evanovich books of Stephanie Plum....I most definitely do not know if I would pick Joe or Ranger (love them both)! There's a movie due out for One for the Money...with Katherine Heigl.
I also enjoy Lisa Lutz - Spellman Files.

I don't "read", I find that with my ADD or whatever I have, I just find myself scanning over the words, but not actually reading and understanding what they are saying. Instead we listen to books on CD. We have gone through "Snow and Ashes" but have not listened to Echoes. My mom told us that it is a big cliff hanger so we sort of want to wait for another book, which will probably also be a cliff hanger!

Fran reads Janet Evanovich, aren't those the alphabet ones? For some real fun you should check out the Blanco County series with Game Warden John Marlin. They are a real hoot! Although I imagine listening to them is a heck of a lot more fun than actually reading them, because the real stupidity of the characters comes through on CD! Not the warden of course, but the other folk, it's based in Texas, and is pretty darned hilarious!

Usnuz with all the time you have on your hands you should really check out some of the other games on the forum, it would give you something to do while you're waiting for the 40 seconds to pass on LTP.

It's not that I'm trying to keep you from being Last, it's just not that much fun to play by yourself and these are some threads that lots of other people play on so you can keep yourself amused and keep coming back to be last.
