I think this is the original Rebel, which you would need to google as Canon Rebel original.

I suspect that the 300D is where it says Rebel on your model, the 300D would be what the Japanese called it.
It says Digital underneath that (if you click the picture in the link it will expand to full screen).

It does not have a tag at the bottom that says 30d

It might in the US version....dpreview would have got a pre-release version to play with; most likely out of Japan.

It's just gone past 8 pm. We needed to start the bedtime routine...so we packed up the cards and he's just finished a bath. A bit of TV time and then time for bed (for him).

We taught DS how to play Spit (a card game) over the Christmas period. Don't know if you know how to play it..but the object is to get rid of all your cards into one of two center piles and slam your hand down on the smallest pile. The winner is the one that eventually has no cards left. Naturally the quicker you play, the faster and more manic the pace becomes.

I'm definitely heading into Veteran Fogie stages....DS is getting so much faster that I'm barely beating him.........heaven help me....one of these days, I'm going to be LAST!
