I don't disagree. I mean people stick to threads that they like. I think the DL side is really clicky because there isn't many people there compared to the WDW side. People get to know each other better. Same topic specific thread likewith the pic threads, only some care about posting a competative photo each day so they get to know each other. In some thread I don't like how newcomers get reduce for asking an old repetitive question.

Yes. I've lurked in DL side...the community is extremely tight. I do know the names of some of the photographers on the photo thread. They sometimes hang out on the photoboard as well.

The Landboard seems very clicky to me....a lot more of a younger set than those that hang out here...not that there is anything wrong with that.

I find very few threads over there that interest me, yes a lot of the people are young, clichy and not at all my type.

Well maybe, but not exactly because we are two different dissers. But it sure seems like that we both were ganged up against at the same time.

I was following the "Fun week days and nights TR" and thought it was really odd in the way that the thing was rolled up, posts deleted and requested to be closed. Was that in reaction to this stalking thing?

Any harassment here is only meant in the snarky context of LTP or the Community Board, it is certainly not meant personally. Sorry if I have appeared offensive, it wasn't meant in that manner.

What, don't you feel there is clicks here? I mean I do. And I surely never meant to intrude. But the LTP thread seemed like a fun casual game to join in on.

I'm sure there are cliches here, and I'm sorry if I've whined about the way the game is being played, but it's a public forum. I don't want you to think you're intruding. Sorry if I've given that impression.

I look at the DL photoboard often, comment rarely, mostly because I had a comment about the subject in a photo deleted.

On this side not often, peek in now and then when bored.

Well, when you decide to unlurk, just make sure you ask about:

• Tell me what camera should I get (I have no more information than that)
• I should stick with Canon or Nikon because they are the best (no one else makes cameras that are any good)
• It's the Camera (and the equipment); not the photographer
• Why can't I post a HDR modified and completely retouched photo for the weekly competition?

Just let me know before you do....I'll stock up on

See, I don't care for the chit chat in the photo board about cameras and photography techniques. My P&S may be a Piece of junk but it takes fine pictures and I'm not going to buy a new one based on photos I see on here.

If I like photos I'll say so, but why. If it's a great angle, moment, rare scene, or includes interesting subject matter I'll say so. But no matter what, I don't care for the 1 of 1 million views of the castle or spaceship earth or the fireworks that someone captured.

I bookmarked when I have read your to. I want to show DS your pictures of the Lincoln Memorial when I get my next visit. He studied coins and I think he would like to see why the back of the penny has the Lincoln Memorial on it.
