10:30 is when Chip & Dale leave (they have to go to the Disney Visa meet and greet). There will still be other characters there until their breakfast bookings are over.
Thanks DM and congrats on breaking 4,000! last time we went to Storytellers, the main characters were Chip and Dale. Koda and Meeko were there too. So if C & D leave, there won't be much left, right?
Not necessarily. . . they may cycle other characters through at that point. I wonder who Molly saw after C & D left?
In addition to C & D, I've seen the following on my trips there: Koda, Kenai, Meeko, Pinocchio, Timon, Baloo, Brer Bear, and I know there is one more that I'm forgetting. . .
Hi! We met Koda and Kenai, and Meeko came by. We saw Terk but hadn't a clue as to who she (?) was at the time so didn't try to meet Terk.
DM seems to know, which I am glad for, b/c I seem to have forgotten what exactly they said. All I know is that we were too late when we had our PS at 11:30, and they said *something* about 10:30.

Molly, I was basing my knowledge on what you had said in a post long ago! It makes perfect sense that they would need to leave around that time since the Visa meet & greet runs from 10 - 11:30. I believe they split the time between Goofy & Max and C & D now.
We're doing all of the character meals this trip since DMIL is coming for the first time. We have seen Chip and Dale at Goofy's for dinner everytime. So hopefully we'll see them there. If we make 11:00 seating, could we see atleast 3 characters? I just don't want to get there and only have Meeko and the park ranger! I'm thinking go to DL for Saturday MM and then take the monorail over to GCH for brunch and then head to DCA. That way we are fed and at DCA as DL starts getting crowded. Any opinions?
ballarinamom, they had the buffet still open for breakfast, but 11:30 is the time when they STOP serving off the menu.
I've read since then that the buffet chefs will make you just about anything from the menu if you ask, but I didn't know that. Also, I would imagine that they start putting things away if they are putting away the menus, so I'm not even sure I could have gotten my huevos rancheros (love that dish) from the chefs at that point. It's a mystery.
Luckily the hostess told me that about the menu when we checked in for our PS, so I had about 10 minutes to deal with it (after dreaming of the huevos rancheros for a month or so) and not be angry with the server. They know that Disney Dining doesn't know (or ignores their pleas to tell guests when making PSs) and doesn't tell guests, so they mentioned it up front.
