Last stupid question!! What's a week?

I did a search but wasn't able to find anything...so I think I may be using wrong search terms...anyway: when the point chart says "weekly" - what are those exact days? Sun-Sat?

Thanks (sorry I don't have my paper work yet - just bought this past week and I'm anxious and excited! not only am I driving all of you crazy my DH is going nuts with me too haha).

The 'weekly' rate is any 7 nights it is basically the total for 5 sun-thurs nights plus 2 friday-saturday nights.

It is there for your ease and isn't any specic checkin days.

It is not a stupid question because most places consider a week to be a Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun stay. DVC is different in the fact that it is any 7 day stay. It could be a Mon-Mon or even a Wed-Wed stay. We had the same question when we first joined too.

Any 7 nights. It makes no difference what day you start/finish. The thing you have to watch for is if a "season" changes sometime during your 7 nights. This will affect the total for the "week".

If there's more to it than this someone here will know more than me.

Also, I've always wondered why they even show weekly totals, unless, there IS more to it than I think.

Wow I had no idea! Now if only I could get work to think a week is the same instead of them forcing me into Sunday - Saturday!

Just be aware that you can't use the weekly total if your trip overlaps two seasons.

With DVC, you would then have to calculate the points needed daily.

We usually book our week as a Sunday-Sunday. Then we stay on Sunday night thru Thursday night and check out on a Friday. That way we are staying 11 nights but only two of them are a weekend.
