One of our News Channels is reporting that they believe that Wilma will hit the Yucatan and than bounce back into Cuba.

I feel really bad for that area, but what does that mean for the US? Would it miss us? I think we had our share this season anyway....

I guess if it goes that track, yes it would miss the US. I feel sorry for anyone in it's path. But come on Florida has been hit so major this year we really could use the break.

I will be staying up to watch the News later. On another thread there is a guy saying that the weather people are making a mistake by telling us that. Because Florida will let it's guard down. Look my guard is not down until it is WAY far away from us. He said bad data was input and that is why the models are showing that.

I was just reading that thread too. I think only God really knows. Years ago, when Iniki was supposed to miss Hawaii it took a sharp turn north and hit the Kauai. After that, I try to keep up with latest projections and be prepared just in case.

Exactly - I don't think anyone is going to let their guard down. We have been hit to many times. And we have seen what happens when you are not prepared.
