Most our patient have central lines/art lines and I get to draw all my own labs-time consuming but better than getting poked-and most of these patients are intubated and xray usually shows up right when you are about to draw your labs or right as you finish!!!!BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!!!

I remember my life as an adult RN-on the floor(not ICU)-I occasionally floated to floors where I had 8-12 patients(rehab) and it was dreadful!!!!!

Don't laugh at my ONE patient-he's pretty sick,but I agree I much prefer one over 9-he may be sicker than yours,but I can focus all my attention on him-That's why I left adults to go to peds ICU

LAST TO POST but anyway the other nurse and I just did a dressing
cause it was bleeding thru and under all the dressing and bleeding was
an old nasty bandaid-someone dressed it w/ the bandaid-gross
