I know-my DS was always acting crazy, but is always responsible(thankfully it's just an act)-especially after he started to drive-only one speeding ticket because he likes to follow the rules

With my oldest i think that is how she will be

my youngest however terrifies me

she is so much like DH was in his younger "wild" days and she is only 10

Yes they are all so different-12yo is very artistic and happy go lucky doesn't always think things thru-it should be interesting when it's his turn to become independent-my 10 yo is like a mother hen already-very responsible since she was little

Do you remember this group-early 70's-I kinda remember them along with the monkies

I asked my Mom when raising kids becomes easier

she :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and said she'd let me know when it happened

my brother and i are both in our 30's out of the house with kids of our own
:rotfl: :rotfl: guess the worrying never ends

Picture is kinda small-it's the group Banana split
1388015614
1389238259
bring back a lot of childhood memories-like around kindergarten age

I guess I'm showing my age-they were popular along with HR Puff'n stuff

Did you see my post about our Dec vacation-we are staying at the Shades of Green now for the entire trip-they originally said they only had 4 nights avail-but now have all 7d/6nights :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

When i was young the only music i would listen to was Elvis

I was 6 when he died and my Mom said i cried for a week

just deviststated

My mom was in a country band so other than elvis that was mostly what was on in the house

Elvis!!! I think I was around 10-11> 1974'ish?????

We do breakfast at the house
counter service lunch and maybe a small snack at WDW
Dinner at the house

we do WDW different than most people I guess we just see what we can with out rushing and figure the rest will be there next time

We normally do one PS and go to Medievil TImes while we are inOrlando one night
we also spend 2 days at universal
no more sea world for us I think

but having the kitchen at the house saves so much $$$

I didn't realize how much till last trip down
we took MIL SIL and family and rather than vacation our way we tried there way ended up eating way to many meals in the parks
blew our budget by almost 1000 dollars

Thanks for sharing-that's what I was thinking too-counter service!! Oh and what is medival times all about-sounds like 12yo would love that!!!!!

DH is going to be awake soon-I'll have to check into Medival Times-DS is into sword fighting and all things related to it-so we will probably have to go-so I think I'll close soon and try and sleep-probably run into you tomm-night if DS(18) doesn't hog the computer :rotfl:

My girls look forward to that as much as WDW

it is a bit expensive but worth every dime we think

there is a muesum with all old stuff from the med times
DD 10 loves the torture chamber :rotfl:

It is a dinner show
set in the med times

you sit in rows around an areana and watch a fabulos horse show while you eat
it is based on the old jousting compitiions

for dinner you get chicken backed potato soup a rib garlic bread and a pastry

NO UTENSILS you eat with your hands
the problem we have is DH is still hungry cause it is just one course and one each of everything

but the show is spectaclur
than after all the riders and characters come out to sign autographs

very crowed but we have been 4 times now and will be back in 06
