Go enjoy the movie. Relax. Try to have a stress free night. I know it's easy for me to say but try and not think about your daughter and what she did. Even tho this is her choice and not a very wise one; and I know she did hurt you in many words but she will regret it one day and the only word of advice that I can give you is for you to be there for her if and when she does every fall and need your help to get back on her feet.

I'll be there to pick up the pieces if she falls, of course. I'll always be there.

This is all about being a parent. Seeing how much we can take and always try and help out our kids at all times. Nobody ever said parenting is/was easy. I'm just starting to learn that.

What do you mean "nobody ever said parenting is/was easy." I WANT TO SEE MY CONTRACT!!! I WANT A REFUND! NO FAIR!

I have 3 kids; all girls

3 girls!!!

I always say that I'll take all three of my boys on a bad day over our girl on a good day! (And I said that long before any of this came up.)

and I'm sure that we are going to have some major differences,

...but I want them to know that I will always be there for them in the long run. Not to bail them out, but as in guidance, and love.

We've always been there for DD. And that's why this hurts so much. Not just because of the whole situation but because the one thing that I have said since we first starting talking about the whole marriage was that if they did go to the courthouse or a magistrate then all I would ask would be to be there...and she did not ask me to be there. That hurts more than anything.

Hope some of this might help you out. I really can't imagine how you feel today. I would prob. be very upset with my daughter if she did that but I'm sure after some time goes by I would try and work things out between us.

As I said, I won't be disowning her or anything like that, and I'm sure time will heal some of it.

I'm last and I was last for 7 hours straight last night ....Beat that.

Still can't top my 16 or 18 hours one night last week!

Okay I guess.

The movie was pretty good and I really enjoyed the time with the boys. After the movie we went to the dollar store, Walmart and then to the grocery store for a few things.

Haven't heard from DD. I tried calling her several times after the movie and she had her cell phone off 'cause it went straight to voicemail, but I didn't leave a message any of those times. Then I called about 1/2 an hour ago and it rang and then went to voicemail. I left her a voicemail just telling her that I was curious if congratulations were in order.

And you're right-we were thinking of renting another year, but the owner of this house we're renting has decided to put the house on the market and sell it-so that's why we're house hunting

Okay, at least I'm not losing my mind.

and I think we might of found the one we like -it needs some work,but it's well inside of our budget and I like a few home improvement projects!!!!

We'll be making an offer sometime next week!!!

Details, we need details! (Not on the offer on the house!

and we're taking the kids to go back and check it out in a little bit

I am dissing and cleaning my kitchen (well, more dissing and less cleaning ) and DD is VERY quiet. I peek in on her and she looks up at me in suprise and says "I wasn't naughty!" The dogs we laying down and everything appeared okay....I wonder what she was up to

So, did you ever find out what she was up to???

that is very cool I like when the kids want to work for $ instead of asking. Last week, I paid the kids a nickel for anything they could find in our yard...which is a couple acres the two older boys each got over $2....they were competing to see who could get more...I encouraged it

That's the best way to teach them responsibility and the value of a dollar. We do that too!

we hide the scissors I think she was feeding them too many treats and being Miss Bossy to them. She is so cute, she washed Copper's paws and said, "she wants to come inside with me, I washed her paws" and they both had puppy dog eyes...I am such a sucker, I said the dog could come in the house....even though I am trying to clean up

at least I cleaned the kitchen

Most of my house is hardwood flooring...just a few rooms have carpet. DH just bought one of those robot vacumming things, so I go to move it from DS's room to DD's and guess what I found....


















this is sooooo funny.....



































COPPER peed on the CARPET! I figured you all could enjoy a laugh at my expense I said, "Copper!!!!" and my cute hound dog looked up and said in her eyes, "I wasn't naughty?!?"

Too sweet. Well we gave the kids $25. for their work. They walked away and started to look at the money and yelled "25 What the heck" and jumped up and down. DH said you know we over paid them, I said "yep I know it but they are good kids." and it made their day.

You guys are so sweet!

Busy day here. DH is sanding the eves getting them ready to paint. We had to replace some of the wood when we replaced our roof.

And I am off to Bath & Body Works to get a vaccum and than I get to clean house. LUCKY ME!!

Than I have Dinner Function that I have to go to this evening.
