doing projects at home and then I took off a couple days....DD and I were both sick...the germy-germs where circulating at prescool then I came into work and there was a mountain of stuff and desperate phone calls and e-mails

Poor thing! I think i'm getting it too though! my "nephew" and Art have been sick and i've seen both of them alot in the past few days I can always tell when I'm getting sick cause my voice gets deeper

I am on antibiotics, so that really helped and DD was looking good from yesterday afternoon. DD and I were getting used to being a home all day

I always loved that "mommy" time staying home with one of the kids when they were sick! Even if they were sick (and even if I was sick, too) I still liked that time!

That's kind of what I'm hoping! It's the position that was offered to me in the fall of '05 but I just wasn't ready for it at the time. DH and I felt it wasn't the right time for me to go full time. I've turned the position down a few times. But I'm ready for it now!

It really sucks to be a full time working Mom. Because I scheduled a meeting for this morning at 9:30 totally forgot that DD has a little music thing at school at the very sametime. So I sit here feeling like crap.

Happens to me all the time now. Don't feel guilty. We're all doing the best that we can!

I had Olive Garden set up for lunch after her First Communion which is this Sat. only to call and confirm that the person I spoke to gave me the wrong information. And the price is now $17 a person and I have to have 20 people which I do but some of them are kids and I am not paying $17 a person for the kids to eat.

So I am scrambling to find something else today.

So, did you come up with an alternate plan???

You and me both. I am the supervisor and I would want to make sure everything was in check. If I wasn't there that means I don't care.

Exactly! I would want there to show that I really care about my job and if they asked questions I'd want to be able to show them that I really do know the answers! (And if I don't know the answers I want to let them know that I want to know the answers!!)

Add me to that list!! I'd be there with spreadsheets, calculators, pencils, notepads, tape recorders, etc, etc!

Most people would be like that! I just can't understanding not caring enough to do that!

Miss M is being dismissed from her IEP!!!!

I haven't told her about it yet, she's going to go tomorrow for a closure session (she's been in speech therapy since she was 2) and then I'm going to take her out to celebrate tomorrow night!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! That is a big step!!

It was another crazy day. Didn't get out of work until 6:15 (scheduled til 4), no break, no lunch! And lots and lots of stress!
