DD came up yesterday and we had an appointment to see the hall. She was very excited about it...much more than I thought she would be. She has so many ideas in her head!

Then after work she and I went to every hotel in the area for prices and to see rooms. There are only about ten hotels in the area. Two are absolute dumps that we wouldn't even put our furry human at. I can't believe the price of the others! Some of these places want $150-$160 for a standard room (2 queen beds - nothing special)! We did find a very nice suite at the Best Western and she's pretty sure that's what they're going to get for the wedding night and maybe the next night.

She did find two dresses on-line that she thinks she likes better than the other one she had found (the halter / backless style). I like them much better than the first one she found:

I really like the addition of a little color! (Her main color is going to be purple - we think!)

I love that, but i'm not sure how it would look with purple if it's not the right shade, it could throw it off

FIL is coming for a quick visit and the house could use a bit more picking up-but I'm really not in the mood-Oh well!!!! He'll have to deal with a little mess

I really need a nap-3hrs isn't cutting it!!!!My ears are still ringing from Last night-I guess the newest technology says that having white noise piped thru the intercom system is good at keeping the confidentiality down

well I say it down right obnoxious-especially on the night shift when the noise level drops and it just BUZZes in your ear-Our new ED pipes in a Static BUZZ,not very nice white noise if you ask me!!!!

Looks like I'm not the only one to think those prices are ridiculous!

And they're higher when things are going on in the area! The first weekend in May is already sold out due to ASU's graduation and the last weekend in May is sold out due to Memorial Day Weekend!

Go back to the link and you can pick the little box with the purple and it'll change in the dress. I like it. I think her second choice is blue - which would be much easier to work with.

yes. It seems that we may get a snow storm Mon night and they want to save some days in case we have to have snow days next week too.

yes, but I am such a weakling about it. I feel like I made such a fool of myself the other night. dh and I talked last night about the possibility of me just quitting. It could work out, but not for long.

That's why we're only going to make a day trip. We can stay in PA, drive down to DC for the day, and then drive back that night.
