We had High school orientation last night

wow alot has changed since I was in high school

they have only 4 classes a day

all 80 minutes long

and they classes skip days

so she will have 80 minutes of math every other day

it is some block schedule thing

seems weird to me

Our high school has a mixture - blocks and skinnies. Very confusing!

OK-Am I wrong here or what.....

DS wasn't ready for the bus this morning-The Bus showed up about 8 mim earlier than usual-so DD ran up to the bus and got on and told the Bus driver her Brother was coming-so as he's jamming on his shoes she started yelling at me saying they need to be at the end of the driveway waiting for her-and get this

She Drove off:faint: -after yelling at me saying she's not waiting!!! I think I smell a dead bus driver-I can not believe she just drove off like that and left DS who by that time was already at the door and heading out-she just drove away:sad2:

Nice Southern Hospitality there!!!!!

OMG! I would be furious! I could understand it a little if she was on time instead of early. But if he's at the door what's another 2 seconds???? Nice role model for your kids!

sorry to vent I just am so mad right now-and I'm waiting for the school administration office to call me back about this incident!!!!!

I can't wait to hear how that call goes!

I guess we're lucky, our bus drivers are pretty nice and patient!

And I'm sure she most likey said something to DS as he got on the bus-and as upset as he was that I yelled at him and was crying from that-he most likely started crying all over again-not good for the tough 7th grade image-Boy I feel really bad about yelling at him about this:sad1:

She is a real sour peach-that's for sure-OK off to call the school now!!!

Your DS sounds a lot like mine. He's very sensitive and if I yell at him it tears him up. You're right - it kills the tough kid image :rotfl: but they can't help if they're sensitive! I'd much rather have him sensitive than tough!

 :furious: My turn to vent...

You know how I've been anxiously waiting for my CPAP machine. I have had a run-around with the insurance company all week. And now I've got to travel to Conover, almost 2 hours away from here, to get my machine. I am furious. I wanted to go last Friday and get it and my insurance company said no, couldn't go in person unless I had a problem with it. Luckily the office in Conover knows the situation and is squeezing me in today. But I had to reschedule a dentist appointment and now I've got to drive down there! :furious: On the up-side, I should have my machine today! :yay:

Kim - Let us know the outcome of the phone call to school.

I hope that driver gets in trouble for their actions.

We did have Really Bad Storms lastnight. A lot of rain.

:rotfl2:

I wonder why everyone wants to rush into something that really changes your life. :confused3 But it is her decision.

 I better find the weather channel - I had no idea.
 glad your okay Kelli...I just opened up the internet and the first thing I saw was a headline and picture about the storm and thought of you and your family :scared1:

OK-Here's the scoop-It was a Sub Driver-I thought so, but the Regular driver never opened her window and screamed at me so I wasn't sure

And I talked to the school admin-she is going to be her talked to and hopefully severely reprimanded Her!!! I will do a follow up call-I guess Kyle talked to her when he got to school and she already knew the scoop-he must of been really upset!!!!

So That's That-Now to Apoligize to Kyle for my Bad Behavior Today-:sad2:

Kathy sorry for the run around, but it will be worth it once you have that machine:thumbsup2

:) OK-Off to the Gym to get out some aggression!!!!! Talk to you all later!!!!

the furnace guys are still here working.

Poor fellows have to figure it all out in a little space (no big basement here).

We're also putting in a big humidifier attached to the furnace and that caused them some problems.

We are safe and sound. But thanks for thinking of us.
