I'm doing laundry (it really never ends), and then at 10 am I am going with Ms. M to try to sell some GS cookies. Wish her luck!

Good Luck Ms. M!!! One good thing about GS cookies - they tend to sell themselves. How much are they a box this year?

Good Luck Ms. M!!! One good thing about GS cookies - they tend to sell themselves. How much are they a box this year?

We sell them for $3.00 a box.

Since I'm the cookie mom I found out that each council decides how much they want to charge. Some places charge $3.50/$4.00. There are even some councils that sell them for $5.00 a box.

The more they charge per box, the more the troop receives from them.

And our troop is doing something really cool this year! If someone doesn't want GS cookies, ie they're on a diet, etc. they can still purchase a box and the girls will then donate and deliver them to our local homeless shelter! They were so excited about it when I was telling them about it.

We talked about all about hunger and homelessness and I was really touched how much they took in and how excited they are about it.

That is a GREAT idea about donating them to the homelss shelter. Put me down for two boxes!!! I'll put a check in the mail!
