You would think I was the one having to possibly get a shot.

Try being the one giving the Shot!!!! I had to give a 9yo a shot of penicillin last night and that stuff is nasty and thick-so after you stick the needle in you have to count to almost 20 before I get done pushing the medicine in I hate giving that shot!!!!

HEy all!

Hi Tracy We're going to be heading out soon to get Catie another Hamster-Her's died on her B-Day in Jan and we got her a new one about 3 days later and it that died on my B-Day (it must of been sick at the store-we only had it 10 days)-I told her I didn't know if we should get another one til we don't have another B-Day coming up

The next B-Day is in March-we'll see if the next one lives past that!!!!

Yep and my oldest DS was sitting towards the lady giving the shots when he was 5,and I asked her if she wanted me to hold his legs-she said Oh no he's a Big Boy!!!!

Yah!!! Right!!! A Big Baby!!! he kicked her so hard she could barely walk!!!! I warned her!!!!

I just made a Doctors appt for Catie and she has to get shots too-the new cervical cancer shot-and I just found out it's a series of 3 shots ,Caties not too pleased about that

Poor girl!!

I know-her last Hamster set a new house record of 1 year 9 months-and then the next one she got set another record as the shortest living hamster we've ever had-so she wasn't too pleased!!!

I think so too-her Aunt who now has lung cancer also had a bout of cervical cancer when she was in her 20's-so I really want her to get this to avoid any possibility of getting cancer!!!

And Texas just made it mandatory for all 6th graders to have the shot-Poor Andie will be getting the shot soon then!!!!

OK-time to head out and get a new critter-we are going to a nicer pet store,this last pet store seems to sell nothing but defective hamsters-since his is the 2nd hamster we got from them that died within 30 days

I know, and it's supposed to be pretty expensive too. I don't know how I feel about her having to get it. It's still pretty new and no one knows much about the side effects. What if it does something to her later in life

that's what it was like when the Chicken Pox vaccine came out. We lived in CA at the time and our insurace Co., Kaiser, was doing the "testing" so T had to be a guiniea pig for it.

After we had Mad. we decided not to give it to her (we had a different insur then), but just last year when we signed up for school she had to have it because now it's mandatory.
