The drain thingy they are talking about for G.........

DGF had that done and is made him feel so much better after the fluid drained
he said it wasn't a painful procedure and this was done while his mind was still "here" so i believe what he said

hopefully it will help G feel better too if they go that route

and I wanted Liz to know i put G on my churches prayer list
he is getting a ton of prayers from our small country church

Just sent off a bunch of cards to G

it is cool that the hospital prints them out and he will actually get a "real" copy

hi everyone. thanks Kathy for letting everyone know what has been going on :

a doggie woke me up to go outside, so I thought I'd give you all an update.

G is doing ok considering the circumstances. They took the abdomnial xrays but didn't tell us what they saw yet. We still don't know if they are going to have to do the draining procedure or not.

After I get my other three kiddos off to school I'll head back over to the hospital.

Also, my dmil is having hernia surgery today. She just told us last night about it b/c she didn't want us to worry about her with all that's been going on with G. If you could please say a prayer for her also today.

Well I'm going to let the doggies back in and see if I can get back to sleep.

Whew - this is turning into the "thoughts and prayers needed" thread.

Just want to ask you all to remember my friend today. She is having gall bladder surgery. She thought it was going to be out-patient surgery and then found out yesterday that she would have to stay overnight. So that made her even more nervous.

but Erica not so much

anything to do with her stomach seems to really hit her hard

well here is how I am looking at it

we are all going thru the rough patches together and at the same time so we can lean on each other

than when the good times hit we can celebrate and enjoy together too

But i sure hope the good times get back here soon

yep!! But she needs to go on a diet and she can't drink alot because of water gain
