We are having a terrible storm...thunder, lightening and very hard rain. So I guess it's time to shut down the computer.

Man-just received some bad news regarding DH sister-looks like she has lung cancer-she's only 40 and has a 5yrold

I think he is doing well now and is going back to school this week. I called my DSis a the night before last, but she hasn't called back and my DM just came home late Sunday night....I think they are all exhausted. I haven't heard about the test results yet, but they said it would take a while (but the initial tests looked good). We are all so relieved...I hate to think about the "what ifs" . How was your test today?

Well that is some good news.

My testing was FLAT. VERY FLAT. Ouch. They said I won't know anything for about a week.

OMG! Kelli I'm so sorry!

I also wanted to ask for some thoughts and prayers tonight, and then I saw your post and it's soooo weird....my best friend (local best friend - not counting all of you guys! ) is going in tomorrow for a mammogram and some xrays because they found a "mass" in her breast. She's scared to death. I'm going with her for some moral support.

So if you would keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well as Peggy and her family I'd sure appreciate it!

What a day this has been. I am ready for it to be over and hope tomorrow brings better news for all.

DH was just saying the same thing this evening, you just never know. A friend of ours who is a Magistrate in the county was killed this morning in a single car accident. He was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. It was very hard on all the deputies that responded (DH being one of them) and the rescue personnel because they all knew him very well. He was only in his mid 50's!

You just never know what any day is going to bring and you just need to treasure every good day that you are blessed with! And you need to always make sure to tell the people who are important to you that they are important! (Sorry to sound a little sappy there!)

On that note - thanks to all of you for being my friends and I hope you know you are all a very important part of my life. I feel lucky to have found you all through LTP and hope that we'll remain friends for a long, long time!!!
