Point 1-In May 2005 my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Point 2-Doctors said that it's going to come back and it will eventually kill him.
Point 3-My dad means the world to me.
Point 4-Today, my dad got sick. He woke up with a HUGE headache and he actually threw up because of the headache. Which never ever happens.
Point 5-My dad never throws up
Point 6-It was probably a migrane
Point 7-Migranes can also lead to brain tumors
Point 8-My dad had a brain tumor before that will grow back.
Point 9-I'm scared because he goes for a MRI next week
Point 10-Lately my dad hasn't been feeling that great

I love my dad to death. I never want to lose him, I don't want to...I just don't. He's the strongest person I know, and the funniest. I can't stand seeing my mom suffering like this, she is so scared that she is going to loose him soon.

My dad's old brain tumor was a grade 2 (Lowest grade 1 highest grade 4). The tumors never go down grades they always go up. I'm scared.

OMG! - My BIL AND SIL just stopped by my office to tell me she just found out she has Breast Cancer and will be going in for surgery tomorrow.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Her name is Peggy.

I am a total wreck now - I am trying to pull myself together.

Man-this is terrible news-looks like were in the same boat-I'll keep her in my prayers if you can keep my SIL in yours her name is LaDonna and she goes to Duke University Hosp in a couple days for surgery too

Lyn - How is your Nephew?

I think he is doing well now and is going back to school this week. I called my DSis a the night before last, but she hasn't called back and my DM just came home late Sunday night....I think they are all exhausted. I haven't heard about the test results yet, but they said it would take a while (but the initial tests looked good). We are all so relieved...I hate to think about the "what ifs" . How was your test today?

Man did we get a wicked lightnening storm too-I'm sure not as bad as you had-but it last from 1am-3:30/4 non stop thunder/lightning and rain-just not as much wind!!! But I can never sleep thru that much noise-no one else has that problem here

We had a nasty thunder and lightening storm here last night, too!

It rained off and on all day today and we're supposed to get rain and thunderstorms through the weekend.

Everything is fine. It was just some wicked Lightening and Thunder. Lucky for us it seemed to be fast moving.

And now it looks like it is not going to be as bad as expected with the T.S.

I also wanted to ask for some thoughts and prayers tonight, and then I saw your post and it's soooo weird....my best friend (local best friend - not counting all of you guys! ) is going in tomorrow for a mammogram and some xrays because they found a "mass" in her breast. She's scared to death. I'm going with her for some moral support.

So if you would keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well as Peggy and her family I'd sure appreciate it!

DH was just saying the same thing this evening, you just never know. A friend of ours who is a Magistrate in the county was killed this morning in a single car accident. He was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. It was very hard on all the deputies that responded (DH being one of them) and the rescue personnel because they all knew him very well. He was only in his mid 50's!

You just never know what any day is going to bring and you just need to treasure every good day that you are blessed with! And you need to always make sure to tell the people who are important to you that they are important! (Sorry to sound a little sappy there!)

On that note - thanks to all of you for being my friends and I hope you know you are all a very important part of my life. I feel lucky to have found you all through LTP and hope that we'll remain friends for a long, long time!!!
