Morning all!
Can i vent?

well here it goes anyway.
My mom and i have planned meeting up halfway between where she lives and where i live. we have had it planned for about a month now. well she went and scheduled some Dr. appointments this past week. One of the visits she had was some kind of a test they had to run but sticking needles in her muscles and nerves. well now she is sore and not up for meeting. i can understand that but WHY SCHEDULE THEM THE WEEK OF US MEETING UP... could she not wait a week? UGH!!! Ok sorry for being a cry baby... just had to get it out!!

when I was little my mother gave me the nickname "Charlie" after Charlie Brown b/c I loved the show so much????!!! I was adopted and she wanted to change my birth name but my grandmother wouldn't let her..so she just started calling me a new name... Charlie

I was called that until I was ~22 when I decided that I wanted to be called my real name and boy was that a mess!! She was p'od at me, still refuses to call me by my given name (yeah.. one of the many reasons we don't have contact). It took months to get a passport b/c she had never legally changed my name to Charlie (add stepfather's last name) but she put it down on all my school paperwork, doctor's etc. It was horrible!!
