1st attempt-we walked in and walked out-over 50 people in there and so sign of it ending-plus I had to be at work at 7pm

Next day we go while DH is at his new job-we waited for 2 1/2 hours and all the dental check was -was a quick look in Kyles mouth(he had gum too) and that was it-she never even checked Caties

and Catie(who broke her glasses right before we left-and I forgot to pick up before we moved) couldn't pass the eye exam with her right eye(she has a lazy eye)-well she passed too!!!

whatever-just give me the darn forms-I know my kids are healthy and Immunized(I almost signed a waiver at the school saying I refused Immun for my kids just to be able to register them)

School was now closed for the day so we headed there on wed morning

OMG! Twenty-one arrested in UK for that plot to blow up the planes....now I'll have to bring my DS's (and his friends) shampoo, hair gel, toothpaste, and other liquids with US in the car, since they are taking a flight Saturday instead of driving with us tomorrow....

so on the way to the school-I looked over all the forms and noticed that the Heath Dept lady forgot to note all of Kyle's Hep B series on the form-so back to the health Dept we go....

An Angel was looking out for us-since when we walked in there was the lady (who screwed it up) in the lobby-she was placing a sign out front to say"No more Walk-ins"

so she told me to go up to her window-if looks could kill,I'd be a dead woman my friends!! Those Mom's there weren't at all pleased that I got to go before them-never mind that I did my time the day before-but I didn't care-so we got the new form and off to the school we went....

so we are at the school and the folders with all the kids papers I filled out on Monday are now no were to be found!!!! Great,what next!!!! After about 20 minutes there they were-right in the 1st pile she checked!!! Ughhhh!!!

SO we go in and finally talked to a counselor-and she asks who is Kyle-What well it's not my DH or my DD-or me so who do you think-why not look up and see who's in the room with you

So sorry for the long vent-it's been another 3 trying days and only one more trip to the DMV and we should be done with the Gov't here in GA

but that's another story-I'll save foir another day

Holy cow Kim! You had a couple of run-around days. I can't stand all that red tape. We did the same thing this past spring when the kids got enrolled.

Hi everyone. Just a quick pop in. I am on babysitting duty, but wanted to check in to say hi.

Surgery started at 7:30 am and still in, I am with the 6 little kids (all neices and one nephew now) my other DSIL was with them all morning, so now its my turn.

Thanks EVERYONE for the thoughts and prayers, I'll let you know when I find anything out.


KIM-- Sorry for all the run around. In IL you have to have an IL form but if you have a recent one from out of state they will enroll you and put you on a "watch list" so you have like 30 days to get the state form. Sorry you had to do all that.



Kim-- Sorry you have to haul extra stuff, but better you have it then they have it taken away or be delayed at the security checks!! As of now they can still pack it in the checked luggage right? or is it anything at this point? I guess I should bring extra money to stop at the store to buy toothpaste and hair products .
