Well I feel like SH**. DD was invited to a B-day party for tomorrow. Well we got the invite a couple of weeks ago. And we were originally supposed to be a WDW this weekend. So I didn't pay any attention to it. Well than we changed our plans and went last weekend. So I was going to RSVP which was by Aug. 1st and let DD go to the party.

Except I kept forgetting to call until it was late at night and too late to call anyones house. Well by yesterday I figured it was way to late to RSVP and we just wouldn't go to the party.

I had a meeting lastnight and didn't get home until after 9:00.

I get home from work today and look at the phone to see if anyone called and noticed the number of the little girls party we were supposed to go to.

I call DH at work and he says "opps - I forgot to tell you, that you were supposed to call her back and now DD nows about the party. (we were keeping it from her until we figured out what we were doing).

Great. Now I have to call the Mom back and I feel like a fool over the whole mess. It was totally my fault.

well I'm sure it will be ok. After all they did call you. Just explain it to her.

With T's party I actually had someone just show up and drop their kid off who did not even RSVP. Good thing I had made extra party favors and game stuff.

I had one of those also and a couple bring thier little brothers. I always have an extra one or two party favors for that very reason.

I am still waiting for the Mom to call me back, so I can eat my Crow.

Nope not yet. I have done everything except hit purchase. I wish you could do payment. I hate forking over all the money up front than if something comes up fighting to get the refund.
