I sent her a Text message yesterday

Okay here is my DH update with a few more details

sorry I just flew by last night


It is NOT a tear which is a good thing

he damaged a muscle or band on the outside of his Left knee

the Dr said it was up to Will he is a defintite Canadate for surgery

will be totally out of work 2 weeks and than light duty ( at reduced pay)
for about a month

OR

he could leave it alone and deal with the pain
he has a 5% chance it will someday go away on its own

OR

he could try a one time shot at Cortizone
it may or may not take

could get him 18 days could get him a year or two

no way to really tell until we try it

The Dr left the room and DH and I talked it over

He was all set to just do the surgery and gt it over with

but than he figured why not give the cortizone a shot

so that is what he did

he has the next 4 days off so

hopefully the shot and the rest and he will be fine

Not sure how much i will be around this weekend

DH is off so he thinks he gets his share of computer time

we have a wedding tonight
a company picnic tomorrow
We are taking the girls fishing on Sunday
and setting up the pool sun/mon

but i will pop on as often as I can

...boy, YOU have a pretty FULL weekend! MY DH and DS went to upstate NY(near Cooperstown, the baseball Hall of Fame) to the cabin...I will be joining them sometime today, so I won't be on the DIS this weekend.....

Okay dates are set for my rescheduled trip to FLA

we arrive at the house we rent on 2/15
stay there relax
swim
maybe do Universal
no pressure just fun

than on 2/22 we check into the Swan
and do the Disney thing until 2/27

so putting the trip off made for a longer one in the end

but I really wanted to see Liz Kelli and Kim

well maybe someone will be there in Feb

I really hope the shot works for him. If not he still has the option to have the surgery at a later date.

...I've stayed at the Dolphin (never even set foot inside the Swan).....the location is AWESOME, though.....
