Hi all
sorry to be MIA

here is a quick update some good some not so good

My nephew is doing OK he will be there 14 days and in a big cast for awhile
he is still pretty groggy fromt he pain drugs

My DGF still needs 24 hour around the clock someone awake care
but the tube is coming out THurs or Fri so that should help there of course that means his lung will fill back up so that isn't good :guilty:

I am back to work 100% my back in better and today I ask my boss to put me on FULL TIME
since

and here is the bad part
DH came home around 5 this AM he blew his back out loading his truck
so who knows how long he will be out

so between work and GF and getting the kids ready for school and DH and helping my nephews family and everything not alot of time for LTP
or anything else really

I miss you guys and hope things settle down soon

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA too! I just wanted to pop on here and say hello and let you know I'm okay, just really, really busy.

Kayla - So sorry about DH's back. I'm glad you're back to normal though and that some things around there are getting better. I know your grandfather will be happy when that tube comes out and hopefully the docs will watch carefully for signs of fluid building up again.

I have just been busy working. You know I'm used to one or two days at the store and I've got 35 this week in addition to two days at the campground. I don't know if I'm coming or going. My only day off was Saturday and I went down to Charlotte to help DD move into her new apartment/townhouse. She cried half the day. It was filthy, so many things wrong with it. Long story, more later. Then she called me at work around 10 yesterday morning and her car had just been hit in the parking lot. A Toyota Tundra backed into her little Nissan. Lots of damage to her car - nothing to the truck! The cop ruled it to be her fault because she was not parked in a lined parking space, she was parked against a curb that did not have a "No Parking" sign there. When she had gotten home Saturday night there were no parking spots available near her building and everyone else was parked against the curb, too. So that's where she parked. She was just the lucky one to get hit. :sad2: I guess we'll let the insurance company decided whether to fight it or not. DH disagrees that it was her fault, if anything he said it should have been a "no fault."

Well, I've got to head out for work. Will try to get on tonight. My next day off is Sunday.

Have a good day everyone!

Thank you.

Kayla thanks again for the quick update-sorry to here about DH's back-life sure can hand us a lot to deal with-I hope all gets better soon :wizard:

Kathy-sorry to hear about DD car-so how is it her fault if she wasn't even in the car-just take some pictures of where she was parked and present them to her insurance co-like your DH said it should be a "no fault" situation-or even more so the big trucks fault since he hit a stationary object! I would be so angry!!!!Hang in there too!!!!

OK-I have to get the kids off to school-and hope to pop on later-Hope everyone else had a good weekend :wave2:

Oh and DH loved his dinner :cloud9: -Tri-tip steak with mashed potatoes and rice and corn and peas-he loves good old fashioned meat and potatoes

wow our trip was great!! but it is back to work today!

Wow. I am so sorry to hear about your DD's Car. Hope the insurance will consider it a no-fault issue and pay for the damage to her car.

Thank you. It feels so good to have that monkey off my back. Now to focus on training. :thumbsup2

So are the kids excited about school starting next week?

Are you going to be okay? You will be home all alone.

guess what ppl...
tomorrow at this time, i will be at STP...
it is like a penatenary(sp?)...
it really is like that cuz in the handbook it says that the students are "released" at 2:45 everyday except for some days...
we are "released"...

lissa - Maybe you shouldn't post the name of your school. Just doesn't feel safe to me.

Anyways are you excited about going back to school.
