his friends (brother and sister-who spend one night a week with us during summer) -well the story finally comes out that they were bending a 12ft long(1")PVC pipe into a "C" shape and letting it go and watching it spin end over end into the sky-well Kyle slipped and it landed right into his mouth!!!!

And moind you today was my last day and we didn't switch over the dental insurance yet!!!!!


so off to the Dentist(at 7pm-they said they'd wait for us) well he takes one look and lets out a very discouraging sigh!!!! I almost started crying then-he says this is definately is an emergency-he had to have an emergency root canal-and one scheduled again for tomm!!!!

Oh NO! I am so sorry.

I called my boss and explained what happened and she said she'd make sure the insurance covers today and up to wed for sure!!!! this is going to cost us a bit!!!

And it think it was totally avoidable is what really burns me up-we have told Kyle not to play with that exact pipe at least a dozen times-but this is just so so... wasteful-his adult tooth is gone and it's the top front tooth on the left side-so it wont be easy to hide!!!!

Thanks-I'm just about in tears with all this stress today-we found out our bank is holding a bunch of checks worth quite a bit of $$$ since they're from out of state-one from our mortgage co-who charged us falsely for some fines that was there fault

and another a reimbursment from insurance

so what am I going to pay for the rental truck with-it's in my account andf avail-but not really-not til friday-when we move!!!!!! Ughh what a night

Thanks-I'm just about in tears with all this stress today-we found out our bank is holding a bunch of checks worth quite a bit of $$$ since they're from out of state-one from our mortgage co-who charged us falsely for some fines that was there fault

I know-but we did switch our health insurance if he had knocked out an eye or broken his nose it would definately be covered!!!!

I am relieved it was only one tooth and that the nerve wasn't shattered!!!It came out all in one piece!!!! ANd this dentist has seen my kids since they were babies and said he would make sure to get this all done by Friday-when usually it akes up to 2 weeks!!!!

I know this is not the time that you wanted a trip to the ER, but at least it happened before you leave and you do have insur. and you know your dentist, etc.

I agree with Kathy - He is so lucky it was only his tooth. And they can fit him with a fake one that looks real. It could have been much worse.

Now maybe the kids will listen to you when you tell them not to do something.

The problem with Thurs/Friday is we are suppose to pick up the van on Wed!!!!So my Mom said she'd loan me cash for a day if needed-but I just pray it's available for the chargecard just not for cash-since my account has plenty to pay for it-if they'd just release it all-for crying out loud one of the checks was a cashiers check and they're holding that for 3 days too!!!!

I thought cashier checks were as good as cash-I guessed wrong!!!!

He was so scared he was shaking thru the entire procedure-and apoligized about 4 times-I really hope he learned a lesson!!!! It really could of been worse!!!!

Holy cow when it rains it pours.

I would be P.O'ed at my bank for holding any kind of check like that. Especially in this day and age. Everything is electronically processed and they funds are removed from the account the day the check is processed. There is NO reason to be holding any kind of checks no matter where they are from.

I said the same thing-at least we know this dentist-he's great-said he'd stay late on thursday and convince one of the girls to do the same just to get this done before our move!!! He's great -if I had to try and get this all done down south-I'd really shoot myself!!!

Everything is electronically processed and they funds are removed from the account the day the check is processed. There is NO reason to be holding any kind of checks no matter where they are from.

they did that with dh bonus check. They held the funds for 5 days till it cleared. I was annoyed. We were paying our car off with it and I wanted to pay it off so we didn't incrue any more interest charges.

Kim that is a bunch of B.S. A cashiers check is as good as cash. Somebody is not being up front with you.

The whole thing with a cashiers check is you have to get it from your bank with available funds in your account. And the funds are taken right when the check is printed. That is a load of crap that they are holding that check for 3 days.
