I worked till 2 yesterday
and than went and stayed with my Grandfather so that
Mom and Dad could go out with some friends

it is so hard
he kept asking me what i did with his wife

I thought he was confused and meant his DD so i told him my Mom would be back later

no he meant his wife
she died in 2000 she was my best friend

i don't know if he forgot or what

than he wanted to talk about when he was in Europe in WW 1

it was a long night

I don't know how my mom does it everyday

Just a quick update-I've had a terrible couple days setting into this new life-and it's mostly due to the new job and the fact that they need all this paperwork and on-line tests and a doctor exam and proof of this and that -that has driven me over the edge -I sat in the car just crying all the way to our new house saying I just can't get this done!!! See-they gave me all this to do one day before our BIG Move!!! I didn't even open it cause we were so busy-and now they are hounding me for everything-SO I found a place to FAX things-got our computer hooked up to take my on-line tests-but still haven't found a Doctor who can get all the medical requirements done

needless to say-I took Saturday off and unpacked and tryed to unwind-so I feel better today-I truely hope everyone here is having a good weekend-and I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you soon!!!

Kim - You will find a way. It just looks like allot to get done. Just take one step at a time and you will the end.

which side of maui do you live on?????????????

I live on the side of one of the mountains...but we are so teeny-tiny, I don't think location matters a whole lot (other than living near the shoreline)...from my bedroom window I can see parts of Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe and most of Maui....that is how small we are....DH and I picked up some fuel and so we will keep watching....If it doesn't look better I will start getting my coolers and water jugs ready. The scary part is that they haven't issued any warnings on this yet I guess they are hoping it will weaken really fast or maybe they will start to issue warnings tomorrow

Wow. I am surprised they haven't issued warnings yet. I guess they feel like they have a couple of days to see what it will do. But it sure seems like a little warning might help people prepare.
