well i need to get off this computer and get to loading the car. I will be gone today through sunday. Hopefully i will be on at my dads some. We are going to Dothan, AL... I looked at the weather and it is 100 degrees there tomorrow.. PLus the humidity....that is ok... we HOPEFULLY are going to a waterpark on saturday!!!

Why can't my mom ever be supportive??? Now she's telling me she doesn't want me to go to bartending school!

She says she knows I can do better than that, b/c I'm smarter than that, why can't she see this isn't what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life, it's just another way for me to reach my goal of being a teacher

Tracy - not to step over any line or anything. But it seems like your Mom should be happy that you are doing something to reach your goal. Some bartenders make very good money and it is something that you can even continue to do while you go to school. School during the day and work some nights to make extra cash.

She is NEVER supportive of me at all! My brother can tell her he's gonna rob a bank and she would support him in it I just don't see how she doesn't understand it! You understand it perfectly, but she just can't see it

Maybe she feels like if you get a job and makes some money you will move out. And she realizes on you to take care of your sister.

Tracy honestly you need to do what is right for you. You quit your job to do what you wanted and that has not worked out for you as of yet. And I think it is wonderful that you are trying to find a job that will help you get what you want.

Staying home is not getting your there.

In the back of her mind she is probably trying to figure out if you get this job, then who's going to take care of Andie for her?? You seem to be the rock in the family and maybe she's afraid that you're moving on now.

ok, his teacher will be here in 1 1/2 hours. I am DONE cleaning! It's not perfect, it will never be perfect, but it's been decluttered

I moved the love seat and the chair around, so the living room looks bigger a bit...well it already is HUGE, but it's loooooooong and skinny, so it always seems crowded with the couches.

The feret cage is all cleaned, the floors vaccumed, counter and table clean. Now I just need to go get clean

Tracy even if you did do it for the rest of your life (which I am sure you are not) it is a JOB and a pretty good one at that. Flexible hours and pretty good money. It is better than nothing.

that makes alot of sense Liz! She only started this when I told her I still plan on moving out. It's gonna happen no matter what! I just don't see why she doesn't understand that I need my own life and not the one I'm stuck in
