Quick update on my Grandfather

they took almost another liter of fluid off his lung on Sunday

the pulminary / cardiac surgen was suppose to be in yesterday but i haven't heard

this is so weird to see 2 months ago this 89 year old man worked circles around people half his age and now this

also one of the meds he is on is messing with him big time and making him Mean
which is totally out of character :confused3

Wow. Kayla I am sorry to hear that. I really hope they figure out how to get him back on his feet again. :grouphug:

I hope she finds something she likes

Yeah me too. She found a park that she likes but everytime we talk to the Manager of it he is pushing another park that he takes care of that is not as nice.

One the homes are closer together with no land to speak of.

And one has a little backyard, front yard and side yard. They have nice green grass and it looks like a nice place to stay.

We can't find anything as big as what she had in our price range so she is DOWN SIZING big time. But we have to do what we have to do. I am not spending a bunch of money for someone to sell the park out from under us again.

Thanks
it is sad and scary
Yesterday he asked my Mom to get his clothes from the Hall

she said what hall??
he looked at her like she had lost her mind and said
the jonstown hall

well that was from the 1930's and 40's when he did competive gymnastics

We used to live in a park
and i remember dealing with all the crap

I was so glad when we managed to finally buy land

I hope she manages to get a place with a yard and a place they won't make you go thru this again in a few years

Yep me too. I do not want to move her again anytime soon.

It does have me a little bit worried that the manager is pushing the other park. :scratchin - Does he know something is up with this one.

and sorry to vent but if i vent to Mom she feels bad
if I vent to DH he wants to fight with my Brother and
Dad has enough stress

so here is my VENT

My Brother is an IDIOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE is always a bit onthe rude side
his way or no way attitude I just don't deal with him
but I hate the way he treats my Mom
always being rude to her
and holding visits with my niece over her head

but this past weekend really p***ed me off

My brother got hurt at work about a month ago
well Thursday he had a "procedure" done and was told
not to lift over 10 lbs

this weekend he had his DD who is 2 and well over 10lbs

my parents were gonna hang out with him this weekend to help

well they had to take my DGF to the Hospital
so I called and left a message if he needed help with his DD to call me and me and the girls would come up

well Momthought they were leaving the hospital and callec and told brother that Dad would be there in about an hour if all went well

than DGF took a bad turn and they had to stay
well they were busy and didn't get to call brother

so instead of calling me or one of his friends he just did it all himself
and got MAD at mom and dad for not coming to help him

Hello he is 32 Grow up
he had other options
i only live about 12 minutes away

I saw him yesterday and he is blaming Dad and Mom for the procedure being undone and him hurting again

I just wanna SMACK HIM

Okay vent over

thanks

Sorry about the vent
but just typing it out helps
since there is really no one here I can vent too

VENT AWAY. You know sometimes people just can't get past the part that it is NOT ALL ABOUT THEM.

Your poor parents are being torn between trying to be two places at once. And like you said you called and told him if he needed help to call you.

I said go and smack some sense into him. :thumbsup2

Kayla you know that is what we are here for. And sometime just telling someone else is all you need to feel better about it.

:grouphug:

The only reason I haven't smackedhim or let DH do it
is that it would hurt my Mom more
she keeps holding out hope that he will grow up someday

Thanks for listening

I gotta go

I have to head to work

have a greatday

talk to you later I hope

Smack hard and tell him if tells your Mom than you will smack him even harder. :teeth:

Okay - that was wrong. But I have one of those brothers also. Except mine is 40 and still hasn't grown up yet. :sad2:

Kayla have a great day. :wave2:

This is pretty funny.
