Goodluck with that
Some of the things I do....pack an extra set of clothes and toothbrushes in your carry-on, in case of a spill/accident or lost luggage. You may not have as much stuff, but I try to pack on suitcase really tight with all the stuff we probable won't need, but need to have (like medicine) and put that overhead if need be. Then, I have one small rectangle suitcase that I place snacks, toys, games, etc. that we would want on the plane, under the seat so it is easy to get to. Then I have my purse and DH has his computer bag. You would be amazed with what I can fit in those two bags...which includes a blanket and pillow for each kid. I pack carefully and compressed since at times one or both kids fall asleep and we need to carry them and our stuff off the plane to the gate where the strollers are. I always take the strollers since we have connections inbetween and it is easier to transport the kids. I also try to pack tight going over, but I pack an extra duffle in the suitcase or I nest suitcases. That way, when I pack to come home, I carefully pack the clean clothes and purchases in our luggage and throw the dirty clothes (in a plastic bag), toiletries and anything else laying around gets thrown in too.
OT- my coworker/friend went to Asia the same time I went to Florida....so it has been busy today and she doesn't come back for a week

but she just e-mailed me that there is a typhoon heading here way

this just sucks....I hope she is okay. She said that the people around don't seem worried...WTH?
