I just found out yesterday that my Aunt who has already had two surgeries for her Breast Cancer now has to have a Mastectomy. And there are only two Doctors in R.I. that do that type of surgery and one of the them no longer does them and the other one doesn't accept her Insurance. :sad2:

So I have asked some of the Ladies on the Breast Cancer Thread who happen to live in Massachusetts for some recommendations for Doctors in the Boston Area.

you can always bring her to Houston! To MD Anderson. That's the hospital I used to work at & my mom still works there. They take all kinds of Insurance

Her Son and DIL live here in Florida and the DIL is Head Nurse in a Chemo Treatment center. But I think her coming here for surgery would not be a good idea with having to travel back and forth for Follow up appointments.

But we will see what happens.

I passed some information on to her today and I think they are going to check things out.

 You guys will figure it all out! I know you won't let her down.

I had a friend who found a lump last July and had a double mastectomy within 45 days. She is done with Chemo and just had a hysterectomy.

Thank you everyone.

I am going to see if she will let me take a picture with her and post it on my 3-day page. Right now I just have a generic picture there.
