Her temp hit 103
she has an ear infection and something (there words) going on with her throat

she is on antibiotic and a antihisamine

she is sleeping now
which is the best thing for her

The house isn't spotless, but it won't matter since I will have to clean again after the tornado, I mean kids, pass through. DH cleaned up our backyard and garage

I figured as much.

Well so much for my Easter Plans

Erica's fever is up to 102 now and she is coughing so hard she is in Pain
so we will be headed off to Urgent Care

We have tried all the regular at home tricks even her breathing treatments and Nothing is Helping

I am so sick of us all being sick

It is gonna be 65 or warmer all week
so I am opening every window
washing all the bedding
lysoling the whole house

I am on a mission
if there is a Germ in this house I will Kill it

Kathy and Lyn sorry i disappeared this morning i just didn't want to whine to you all and i have had a Horrible weekend

My DH and my MOM got in a HUGE fight
things are still Rocky there

the girls have been acting up

and work yesterday was HORRIBLE

i just want to find a hole to climb in and stay there till things are better

Man i seem to never have any good news anymore


Steph sorry you guys are feeling icky too

I am exhausted and every muscle and joint is aching.

DH, the boys and I went over to the campground to give out friends their Easter present at about 11:30 this morning. We showed up without telling them we were coming! Boy were they surprised!

Our Easter gift to them was....us! We know that they've been having a hard time getting everything done to open for the season. So Andrew and I tackled the office and store area and DH, Matthew and A.J. went out on site and cleaned up campsites - lots of trimming, raking and such. I had fixed a crockpot full of sloppy joes and we stopped on the way at the bread store for some fresh hamburger buns and chips.

The boys kept saying they felt like they were on one of those home makeover shows. We all got soooo much done and our friends were so happy! (She cried!)

BAGGIE ICE CREAM

Get two qt. size ziplocks
And one gallon size ziplock.

1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Half and half.
1 tbl.Sugar
1/4 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

(you can also add Chocolate Syrup, chocolate chips, Mint Extract, nuts, marshmellows or whatever else you would like)

Put all that in one of the qt size bags and make sure it is closed. Than put that bag inside of the other qt. size bag and make sure it is closed.

take the large Ziplock and add 2 cups of ice and 1 Table spoon of Rock Salt.

Now put the baggies with the liq. in them inside the Gallon Bag and make sure it is closed.

Now you just shake, toss and tumble the bag until the liquid mixture starts to form a ball of ice cream.

Hint - The more you shake it the better it becomes. (it keeps the kids busy)

When it gets firm.

Take it out and ENJOY!

I really should get out to the kitchen and start cooking. I like days like this when I can cook all day! Today's going to be a very relaxing, laid back type of day for our family finished off with a huge meal.

One of our friends had to go to FL to take care of some family business and she took her one son with her (he's 17). So we've invited her husband and their other son (he's 20) over for dinner.
