I just read back over this and now I'm nervous. DH and the boys don't have suits, they have dress pants, shirts and ties. I know that funeral up north are different than here. (Heck, we wear jeans to funerals here!) Do you think they'll be dressed appropriately if they don't have a full suit? We really can't afford one for four of them! But I don't want to look bad! :confused3

Oh Kathy I think they will look FINE! Doesn't matter what someone is wearing on the outside, it is the point they are there to share love and respect for Grandpa and what they are wearing IN thier HEART!!!!

...I think that, as long as they don't wear something LOUD (ie: bright colors, clothes that look like they are going to the beach, etc.) it will be okay. Maybe some nice trousers and a dark shirt, :confused3 perhaps?? The fact that you and your family are making the journey to say your final "good-bye" and to be with the rest of your family should be okay.....just think of all the wonderful times that you had with your grandpa.... :rolleyes2

I think I am all alone.

...when you think about it, AREN'T WE ALL, really?? (Oh, man, just when did I get all philosophical??)

HEY!!! Where IS everybody?!??!?! :scratchin And, to think, only 8 more posts till 8,900!!

What a morning-as I pull up from droping off DS I notice a black lab running down the road digging in garbages-but he didn't come up to me so I continued up our driveway

as I'm getting our garbage cans ready for DD to take down the driveway, guess who comes up to me all happy???

yep-Mr.HUGE Black Lab,walked right up I got a hold of his collar, got the number and then proceeded to bring him in the house

well all was well til I tryed to put him in the little Bathroom,he didn't want to go,but I dragged him in and shut the door

well no answer at the owners for over an hour(this is the same dog that I found about 3yrs ago) so No way am I keeping a whinning dog in our little BR all day-so I called the Humane Society and they're coming to get him

What's wrong with these people-how about some dog training???? If this is always happening then do something,he's just in need of a bit of training and attention

some people shouldn't have animals in their care :guilty:

so now I sit and wait for the Humane Society to show up-listening to him whine in the BR-I'm afraid to let him out he's quite the wild boy and very strong!!!!

aweful quiet around here this morning :guilty:

and I'm still waiting for them to come get this whinning boy :rolleyes1

OK-they came and got him and he was just great-let us do anything-just wanted out!!!! :thumbsup2

and he even jumped right into the back of the van into a carrier, well at least he'll get the attention he needs now

since we lost our baby we don't have any dog food or water dishes around,so now I can go take my nap with peace of mind!!!!

sorry to miss everyone this morning-I'll try and pop back on later
