You need to find something to do
even if it is just a couple of days aweek

that is the main reason i am working
I go crazy when i am home all the time
and no adult interaction other than family

Kliz...DH doesn't have the video IPod, he said that is the newest one..so he can't download shows...

He also said that for books Itunes is expensive and the selections are limited...but sometimes they have specials. Audible.com is cheaper and a huge selection...and those books have well spoken speakers....and you get two free books when you sign up...and he threw in a plug that if you do sign up...use his ID and he would get free stuff :sad2:

DH is embarressed to say what books he has  becuase he said they are boring...most are self-development and leadership type of books and he also has the Chronicals of Narnia and Blink...if you want these types of books that he already purchased, he said he could make a cd for you and I could mail it to you. But he thought you should listen to the first 2 free ones first to see if you like it...since most people either like it (like DH) or don't like them (like me :teeth: ).

oh yeah, he though "SPUSHI" was too funny :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:3dglasses looks like Kayla went to bed and Angel x 2 didn't come back :guilty: noone to chat with :guilty: I should go to bed too :p

Sorry again about Grandpa

when do you leave to head up there???

Thanks!

We'll be leaving here tomorrow morning. The viewing is Friday (which is the anniversary of the day my mom died) and the funeral is Saturday and then we'll head home Sunday.

Today I've got to go buy clothes and stuff for the boys. We put together all their dress clothes last night that are dark and appropriate for a funeral/wake and naturally everyone needs something. One of them needs pants, one needs a shirt and one needs shoes. We were doing so much handing down and switching for sizes last night it was actually comical. :lmao:

I'm glad you found something to laugh about
When DH's father DIed in Nov03
it was like that amonst his three grown adult sons
all calling each other

do you have a tie??
Can i use your black shirt??
don't you still have my tie tac??

kinda funny
DH ended up having to buy a whole new suit cause he had gained weight since the last time he needed one
so my Mom took him "christmas shopping" and paid for the whole thing since we were shelling out money for the grave and everything

Erica just said to tell you she is very sorry to hear about your loss
and she hopes you will be OK

I've got to tell you what DH did last night. We're all getting our outfits figured out and I told him he needed to get his too. Well, one thing about DH is his sense of humor, weird as it may be sometimes. And that's one thing Nana and Grandpa have always loved and appreciated about DH. Sometimes some people just don't get his jokes but Grandpa always did!

I was in the bathroom helping A.J. with his shower and DH comes to the door, knocks, and says through the door "See if my outfit is okay!" I open the door and there he stands; nice white shirt, dark blue tie, his black cowboy hat, his black and grey cowboy boots.....

all being worn with his overalls! :lmao:

He even had the legs of the overalls tucked into the boots!

He's actually considering taking the overalls so that when we go to see Nana tomorrow evening when we get there he can go to the door like that. They have always teased us for giving up the city life to become country bumpkins and this fits right in!
