that would be terrible-but we still have our heaters on-I did have the windows open today though- as I cleaned out DS's room(and it better not get dirty again!) but only for about 2hrs

::yes:: there was thunder and lightning earlier...we sometime get light storms...but somehow they don't seem as scary as the lightning storms in the midwest :confused3

DH hates wind. He likes the rain falling straight down, but hates when we get rain w/ wind or just high, gusty wind

so only two more bedrooms to get ready and then onto the basement!!!! and all the clothes down there

do you get tornados by you??? My kids are very scared of them-run into the basement everytime there's a big storm with high winds!!!!

when does your "guest" move out? is he going to still be in there when you paint? he should be helping you paint ::yes::

We have so much to do and I really want to get this house on the market by the end of April-or 3rd week of April-but the end is looking more realistic-we have to strip a picture window in the front and do a lot of outside and inside painting too-so the faster I get the little things done like getting rid of all the kids extra toys(already have one box of mostly stuffed animals) the better it is to get all the big projects done

but we have to have better weather than what we've been having to get a lot of the Big projects done

we had some here last week! they were in a different part of our County...I don't think they did much damage...we sometimes get little twisters around here, but not like you guys get up there....around here, most people have a house that is built on the ground on a concrete slab or on posts set in the ground (no basements)...it is actually sort of scary...with hurricanes, etc.

I was just thinking of that-I don't think he's moving out anytime soon-and how am I going to get his room ready for show with all his junk laying around!!!

I really wish he'd move already-and if he helped paint I might strangle him,he's better off keeping his distance from me these days :teeth:

I've been running into that problem looking at houses down south on the internet-No Basements-I really think my kids would freak without one,so it's a big priority on our list!!!!
