Update.

They thought that Caleb had bruising in his stomach from the dirt bike accident and the staph infection was from a cut in his knee and he still has the hairline fracture in his collar bone.

They were thinking they were going home tonight but we just got a call from my BIL and said the Dr caught something she didn't like so they sent him back down for some more testing and ended up removing a bunch of pus from his abdomen.

The Dr. don't know what is causing it but they are going to start him on a bunch of antibiotics and keep looking.

The Dr. is now thinking this has nothing to do with the accident at all.

...isn't it funny how something so terrible could actually be a blessing in disguise??

DH just called me. My 10 year old Nephew races dirt bike and took a spill a week ago. Well they thought he had a hairline fracture in his collar bone. He wasn't getting any better so they took him to back to the Dr. and when they were pushing on his stomach my nephew was crying out.

The Dr. told them to take him directly to the Hospital. So they are on their way.

Caleb is near and dear to my heart because my first child would have been the same age as him.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts today.

...my DSis and her colleagues didn't have a contract for THREE YEARS , but they FINALLY settled back in April - she got retro pay of almost $18,000 !!!

...my DSis and her colleagues didn't have a contract for THREE YEARS , but they FINALLY settled back in April - she got retro pay of almost $18,000 !!!

we haven't had to strike here since the mid 80's, but the police and fire just got some kick butt contracts, and the mayor is up for re-election, plus he is trying real hard to sell the olympics thing to the world so..... this is the year the union is going to push for something. The last contract was 5% over 5 years?!?!?!!? the math teacher wasn't on that committiee!!!! 1% isn't even a cost of living increase!!!!

sorry.... union soap box....

I am still a geek.... I like opening of school each year. so I am getting excited. Although I loath having all the teachers complaining about their schedules to me......
