Pretty good. I've gotten a lot done around the house today. Last night I stayed up until midnight working on the schedule for work. That is one of my new responsibilities that I have at work. I have never had to do it on my own before and with next week being move-in weekend for the college and a lot of my employees needing off because they are students this schedule is especially rough!

How has your weekend been??

It has been okay.

Hey gang!

Well, I've been gone for a week now. Here's why.

August 4th, 2007 - Spent day at Kings Island (4 hours from my house)
August 5th, 2007 - Drove back form Kings Island, left for band camp at noon
August 5th through August 10th - Marched at camp for up to 14 hours a day
August 10th, 2007 - Left band camp at 9PM to drive to a hotel at Summersville lake
August 11th, 2007 - Spent the day working on my SCUBA certification, up to 33 feet underwater and took the written test
August 12th, 2007 - Dove once again, (well, twice that day) to finalize my certification at depths up to 38 feet, and then drove home.

I'm exhausted.

OK I know I haven't been around much lately, but I've been getting everything for school ready, and guess what!!! I'm done and registered for classes now!! I go back Monday and pick up my books and my classes start on the 27th (I think I need to make sure Monday when i go get my books!) I'm so excited! I'm on Fin Aid probabtion, so they're only covering 2 classes for now, but at the end of this semester if I finish my classes with high enough grades they will kick in the rest for the other semesters I can't wait! i'm sooooo sooooo soooooooo excited!

that's cool! When I was in high school, they let me take classes online too, so I took so many classes that I passed everyone up and the last semester of my senior year I only took 2 classes a day and 1 was an elective

They've pretty much made it so you can't have free blocks anymore at our school. And, if you do, you just stay in the office, and run messages around the school.

I thought I heard someone calling me We are okay right now...just been very busy. Regular school started, DH and DS were testing for Taekwondo...DH injured his foot (sparring in Taekwondo...might be broken...x-ray wasn't clear on that, but he can walk on it), Sunday school started and there was a Cat. 4 hurricane heading our way...but now it is a 3..they say it will go below and we aren't under a watch or warning right now here is the latest:

I have been cleaning up inside and outside around our house. If it gets really bad, I think we will be having a lot of people staying with us at our place, so I need to be extra prepared. I went to bed after midnight last night and woke up at 5 so I could hit the store before work...I was so exhausted, on my lunch break I took a nap and slept on my desk (I have an office and when the door is closed noone can see in)...tonight we have to move my goats to a sheltered area by my in-laws...finish washing some extra bedding (in case we have guests) and I want to do my baking....I am trying to keep my kids light and positive...told them we may be having a party and it will be like camping with some of our friends and family....I may have over did it because they are excited for the storm...hard to find the balance, I don't want them to be afraid or freak out not knowing what is going on and why people are staying with us...but at the same time I shouldn't sugar-coat it too much. been praying often too
