Thankfully the storm is breaking up, it lost its eye. Right now, it is so very beautiful outside...you wouldn't think there is something brewing out there.

me too...at first I was like this ---> "it isn't a 3 anymore"...but now that it is starting to get breezy here I am thinking a cat. 2 or 1 is still scary DH works near the kids school....if the weather turns on us he is picking them up ASAP!

hopefully it won't really effect us until tonight...so that everyone is home and snug....we prepared most our animals last night...the only ones left are my dogs. They need a bath and then they are staying in the house with us.

we have pet fish in the house, and about 20 catfish outside, a cockatiel in the house and about 75 chickens outside, a guinea pig in the house, dogs that are usually outside...but are staying in with us for the storm, three goats (one I had since she was less than a week old and she is almost 9)...and a DH, DS and DD

I got off work today at 12:00. It was such a treat to come home a little early AND have the house to myself!

We've had some major changes in the office at work. I now have different responsibilities, one of which is making out the schedule. What a job! But I muddled through my first time at scheduling this past weekend and so far we haven't had any major problems with the schedule for this week!

I have been pushing to the limit, though, because I am actually doing the job of two people, myself and the other front end manager that is off indefinitely!

I came in...since I don't know what will happen tomorrow...I guess it depends on if there is damage or not and eletricity...but I would leave if things look bad. I live about 30 minutes away...but I have to travel thru a low lying area that has the potential to flood...

I did!

Even though it was only 2 hours alone I still enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was the first time I've been alone in the house since school got out for summer break.
