Didn't get to meet any. A.J. had a great time but me, on the other hand, well let's just say it was culture shock! I'll fill you in later. I've got to get dinner finished up and head to the FD for a little while!

We would have been starting around that time. Now we don't go back until the 20th or something like that. I don't like it. I wish they would have left it alone.

They are also now trying to change our school program from a choice program back to going to your neighborhood schools. Which means that 80% of the children would be up rooted form the schools they are in now. Big mess.

They did that here a few years back, it still has its side effects, although some of the kids did stay at their "home schools" or the schools they started in rather than their neighborhood schools, parents just had to arrange for transportation instead of the school bus.

Yes we do. I hate to hear when the flute and clarinet players complain about holding up their instruments. They don't carry a 30 pound peice of brass on their left shoulder.

Hi everyone-Just finished the Harry Potter book and finally have time to use the computer again!!!

Loved the book-going to re-read it again soon!!!

And the Sailor Man got his orders today-He's flying out of Chicago tomm for San Antonio ,TX and starts school soon after that!!!!

He graduates around Sept 11th but I don't know if we'll be able to attend the ceremony-maybe DH will fly down there??? We'll have to see!!!

And he got his graduation present today-I overnighted the New Harry Potter -Special Edition book to him and he was very pleased to receive it!!!!

well time to head to bed-lots of stuff to do tomm-plus the cable guy is coming again-Our internet is still flipping out at times!!!! At least we got a months credit for the poor service we've been receiving-I pray it gets better one day!!!!

You can't tell me what happens though! I'm only in chapter 3 sadly. I started yesterday morning and read for a little while. I'm just not a reader, so I'll be lucky if I ever finish it. I never finished the fourth book and never read 1,4,5, and 6. I just wikipedia'd 6 to find out what happend. Now, I'm going to try and read 7.

And Jake get to reading!!!-Harry Potter books are responsible for turning both my boys into great readers!!! Working on Catie now-she's just a bit slower than her brothers since her eyesight isn't as good-reading has always been a struggle for her

Waiting for Catie to go to Cello camp-I'm car pooling with one of her friends- they pick up I drop off-It's been a nice not to have to drive her every morning

-but I do have to be up anyways with the darn puppy-one day hopefully soon she'll sleep in onger than 7am!!!!

I guess her kidneys are trying to get better-but she seems to still need to go more frquently ever since she got sick-

She now wakes up at 4am every morning too-so that's been no fun getting up with her then -at least she goes right back to bed
